    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of constructing a resource allocation map in a mobile communication system. In a method of constructing a map in a hierarchial pattern method in a case where a localized resource block (localized RB) and a distributed resource block (distributed RB) need to be simultaneously allocated in regards to a radio resource allocated in a previous frame or reserved with a fixed allocation, a radio resource that is reserved or not used and a radio resource that is newly allocated in a map of a current frame are classified and represented. Then, in regards to a radio resource that is allocated in a current frame, a localized RB and a distributed RB are classified and represented. As for the localized RB, allocation information is represented in an index pattern method, and as for the distributed RB, resource allocation information is represented in a toggle pattern method.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a femtocell search method for a handover from a macrocell to a femtocell. The present invention relates to a method for a terminal that accesses a macrocell to search a femtocell in an environment where a plurality of femtocells are overlapped in one macrocell. The terminal searches a femtocell by using a dummy preamble in order to minimize the size of neighbor cell lists broadcasted from the macrocell to the terminal. Therefore, according to the present invention, an MAC overhead can be minimized by eliminating neighbor femtocell lists in a mobile neighbor advertisement (MOB_NBR_ADV) message broadcasted from the macrocell, and the terminal can search a femtocell with a minimum scanning load by checking only a femtocell dummy preamble in a dedicated symbol of the macrocell.

Subsequently, the plurality of multiplexed payloads are code multiplexed so as to generate a code division multiplexing symbol, and a channel code is applied to the code division multiplexing symbol. Then, the code division multiplexing signal applied with the channel code is transmitted to a base station through a wireless resource. Accordingly, a feedback channel that is adaptive to a channel condition is configured, such that a wireless resource for a feedback channel can be efficiently used.

    Abstract: An apparatus for time synchronization of an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system oversamples a received signal using a master clock having a frequency at least four times higher than a minimum sampling frequency in a transmission apparatus, sets one of a plurality of oversampled signals to an on-time signal, and shifts each of the remaining oversampled signals by a predetermined time on the basis of the on-time signal. The apparatus for time synchronization calculates a correlation value by correlating each of the shifted signals and the on-time signal with a previously known signal, detects a maximum energy value among the calculated correlation values, and detects a start point of a frame by comparing the maximum energy value with a predetermined threshold value.
