    Abstract: A dosing system for installation in a domestic dishwasher is disclosed. The dosing system in some embodiments permits the automated delivery of a defined dose of a detergent in powder form into a dishwashing chamber of the dishwasher. It comprises for this purpose a supply chamber for receiving a supply of the detergent and an extracting mechanism for extracting a dose of the detergent from the supply and for delivering the extracted dose into a fall channel. In order to assist with expelling an extracted dose of the detergent powder from the fall channel or/and to accelerate drying of the fall channel, the dosing system in some embodiments includes a fan for generating a blowing air stream which flows through at least parts of the fall channel.

    Abstract: A mechanism for the door of a domestic electrical appliance, for example a dishwasher, is described. The mechanism includes a door latch for holding the door closed, a latch opener mechanism, an electrically controlled actuator for displacing the latch opener mechanism, a movably arranged pusher, and a spring device for providing a spring force which acts on the pusher. The latch opener mechanism functions such that, when the door is closed, it can be transferred from an inactive position into an active position while at least partially overcoming a holding-closed action of the door latch. The movably arranged pusher is separate from the latch opener mechanism and is decoupled therefrom in terms of movement. After the holding-closed action of the door latch has been overcome, the spring drive allows the door to be pushed open by the pusher.

The sensor is suitable for use in a water-bearing domestic electrical appliance (e.g. washing machine or dishwasher) and allows the temperature dependence of the turbidity measurements obtained by means of a first light detector to be compensated for. To this end, the sensor implements, in addition to a turbidity-measuring path along which a measuring-light beam is sent through a measuring space containing the turbid medium to a first light detector, a reference measuring path along which a reference light beam is transported to a second light detector which is thermally coupled with the first light detector. A heat-equalizing element can ensure that any temperature differences between the two light detectors are minimized. Both light-measuring paths can run in some regions inside the same solid-material light-conducting structure.
