  • Publication number: 20190301230
Abstract: A domestic appliance, for example a washing machine, comprises a body having an access opening to a process chamber arranged inside the body, a door which is movably attached to the body and which closes the access opening in a closed position, a door-closing mechanism for holding the door closed in its closed position and a door-opening mechanism arranged on the body or on the door, having a push slider, which is movable between a retracted position and a deployed position, and a drive unit for driving the push slider. A transfer of the push slider out of the retracted position into the deployed position effects opening of the closed door, the push slider acts in a pressure-exerting manner on the door or on the body and thereby overcomes a holding-closed action of the door-closing mechanism and opens the closed door.

  • Publication number: 20190137092
Abstract: A lighting device for lighting an interior of a domestic electrical appliance is configured to be operated in different lighting modes which differ from one another by the spectral composition of the light of the lighting device delivered into the appliance interior. In some embodiments, the lighting device comprises two light-emitting diodes which differ from one another in terms of the spectral content of the light delivered thereby. The different lighting modes of the lighting device differ from one another by a different operating combination of the light-emitting diodes. By varying the duty cycle and the pulse frequency of a pulse-width-modulated control signal, a control assembly is able to transmit two different pieces of control information to the lighting module in order to control the two light-emitting diodes individually.

  • Patent number: 10240372
Abstract: A door latch for an electrical household appliance includes a latch housing in which a gripping unit is received. The door latch further includes a first arresting element which is received in the latch housing such that it is movable between a release position and an arresting position. In the arresting position, the first arresting element blocks the gripping unit to prevent rotation into the open rotational position and, in the release position, permits a rotation of the gripping unit into the open rotational position. A second arresting element is received in the latch housing such that it is movable between an unlocking position and a locking position. In the locking position, the second arresting element effects a blocking of the first arresting element to prevent rotation into the release position, in the unlocking position, the second arresting element permits such a movement of the first arresting element.

  • Patent number: 10222054
Abstract: A luminaire for installation in an electrical household appliance, e.g. a washing machine, includes, in one embodiment, two light-emitting diodes mounted on a circuit board, an elongated luminaire housing having a light exit area, which is formed by a light-permeable piece of the housing wall, in an area of a first longitudinal end of the luminaire housing, and also a light-conducting body having a light-conducting tube which extends inside the luminaire housing and which conducts, towards the light exit area, light which is given off by the light-emitting diodes. In one embodiment, a metalizing layer provided on the inner peripheral face of the light-conducting tube rests, in heat-transmitting contact with one or more conductive traces, on the upper side of the circuit board.
