Patent number: 9267083Abstract: Processes are provided herein for producing naphtha boiling range products with a desired sulfur content by reducing the mercaptan content of the naphtha boiling range products after the products exit a hydroprocessing stage. Due to mercaptan reversion, naphtha boiling range products that contain even small amounts of olefins can have a higher than expected sulfur content after hydroprocessing. In order to reduce or mitigate the effects of mercaptan reversion, microchannel reactors (or microreactors) can be placed in a processing system downstream of a reactor that produces a low sulfur naphtha product. The microreactors can include a coating of metals that have activity for hydrodesulfurization. By passing at least a portion of the naphtha product through the downstream microreactors, the mercaptans formed by reversion reactions can be reduced or eliminated, resulting in a naphtha product with possessing a very low sulfur content.Type: GrantFiled: December 3, 2013Date of Patent: February 23, 2016Assignee: ExxonMobil Research and Engineering CompanyInventors: Benjamin S. Publication number: 20160046881Abstract: A process for desulfurizing a delayed coker naphtha in a catalytic naphtha desulfurization process in which the feed comprising the delayed coker naphtha is passed over a silicon trap comprising a high surface area inert alumina of low metals content prior to being hydrodesulfurized in an olefin-retentive, catalytic naphtha hydrodesulfurization process. Unpromoted (no intentional metals content), inert alumina is preferred for the silicon trap since it will not affect the olefin-retentive qualities of the hydrodesulfurization catalyst and for maximal silicon capture, a high surface area alumina is employed.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 13, 2014Publication date: February 18, 2016Applicant: ExxonMobil Research and Engineering CompanyInventors: Stuart S. Publication number: 20160049251Abstract: A folding type capacitor includes a metal substrate wherein a through hole penetrates an inside thereof; at least one dielectric layer formed on a surface of the metal substrate and an inner peripheral surface of the through hole; and an electrode layer formed on the at least one dielectric layer, wherein the metal substrate has bending portions whose surfaces are facing each other. Thus, manufacturing process is more simplified since Al2O3 insulation layers are formed by anodizing the aluminum layer without forming the extra dielectric layers after forming the aluminum layer, so that the manufacturing cost can be reduced, and also a multi-stacked capacitor having a high capacitance and a high reliability can be provided by stacking capacitors including a plurality of aluminum oxide layers using a more simplified process.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 13, 2015Publication date: February 18, 2016Applicant: POINT ENGINEERING CO., LTD.Inventors: Bum Mo AHN, Seung Ho PARK

The one end of the working boom is mounted on a rotary head bearing block, which projects beyond the substructure, in a pivotal manner about a horizontal axis. Furthermore, the rotary head is mounted on a rotary bearing of the substructure in a rotatable manner about a vertical axis by a radially projecting bearing ring. The bearing block and the bearing ring of the rotary head are rigidly connected to each ,other via a base plate provided with a central opening. The rotary head has an annular reinforcing structure which points away from the mounting plate in the direction of the substructure and is concentric about the bearing ring, the reinforcing structure compensating for the non-roundness of the support structure of the bearing block in the circumferential direction of the bearing ring.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 27, 2014Publication date: February 18, 2016Applicant: Putzmeister Engineering GmbHInventor: Karl WESTERMANN

Publication number: 20160049843Abstract: A step motor integrates its mounting face and heat sink into the stator design. In particular, mounting holes (typically, four in number) are provided through the stator stack in outer perimeter areas. The stator stack itself becomes the mounting surface, allowing the heat generated from the stator to conduct directly to the mounting plate. The front end cap for holding the rotor in alignment is situated inside of the stator's mounting surface and takes no part in mounting the motor to the mounting surface. The end caps only hold the rotor in proper relation within the stator and contain the bearing assembly for the rotor's axial drive shaft. The perimeter of the stator assembly between the mounting screw holes may have saw-tooth cutouts that define heat-dissipation fins.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 14, 2015Publication date: February 18, 2016Applicant: LIN ENGINEERINGInventors: Ted T. Publication number: 20160048375Abstract: A computer system may seek to identify at least one contraction metric that satisfies contraction conditions for a design of a dynamical system. The computer system may do so by formulating a search for a candidate contraction metric that is suspected of satisfying the contraction conditions for the design of the dynamical system from a set of simulation traces that describe the behavior of the dynamical system for a specific set of operating conditions. The search for the candidate contraction metric may then be performed. The computer system may seek to verify that a candidate contraction metric for a design of a dynamical system satisfies contraction conditions by performing a process that uses solvers based on decision procedures.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 18, 2014Publication date: February 18, 2016Applicant: TOYOTA MOTOR ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING NORTH AMERICA, INC.Inventors: Ayca Balkan, Jyotirmoy Vinay Deshmukh, James Kapinski
