    Abstract: An ink fountain apparatus, method of method of adjusting printing characteristics in flexographic printing and a printing press system are disclosed. The apparatus may include a side plate, a roller disposed adjacent a first end of the plate, a back plate disposed adjacent a second opposing end of the side plate and a throttle disposed between the roller and the back plate. The throttle is mounted to the side plate and includes a back surface facing towards the back plate and a front surface facing towards the roller. The front surface includes a curved portion forming a tapering gap between the roller and the front surface of the throttle. A position controller is coupled to the throttle to selectively move the curved portion towards and away from the roller to adjust the volume of ink being transferred to the outer surface of the roller.

    Abstract: An apparatus and a method are provided for a sprayer nozzle support to a pump mechanism of a trigger sprayer assembly. The sprayer nozzle support generally comprises a tower portion and a first and second side protrusions. The tower portion is configured to convey stability to the pump mechanism when a screw cap of the trigger sprayer assembly is screwed onto a neck of a container. A top of the tower portion is configured to support the pump mechanism and a bottom of the tower portion is configured to contact the screw cap. The first and second side protrusions provide structures whereby the sprayer nozzle support may be removed from the trigger sprayer assembly. A curved proximal surface of the tower portion and the first and second side protrusions facilitates an unobstructed grasping of the trigger sprayer assembly in a hand.

Wire to be used in canted coil springs can have two or more metals oriented co-axially along such wire, such as an outer layer of one metal having one set of properties, and a core of a different metal having a different set of properties, that will achieve a single solid, multi-metallic wire with enhanced performance over a single material canted coil spring. Such features may be found advantageous in electrical applications, such as where both high electrical conductivity and high strength properties are desired.

A gap in the obscuring element may be characterized by a length taken along a long dimension and a jaw spacing taken along narrow dimension, and at least one of the length of the gap and the jaw spacing is subject to adjustment, either manual or automatic. The adjustable collimator may be disposed either inside or outside the ring of apertures, and, in some embodiments, the jaw spacing may be a function of distance along the long dimension relative to an edge of the gap.

The biocomponent feedstock can be initially co-processed with a mineral feed in a fluidized bed stage, such as an ebullating bed processing stage. Ebullating bed processing can mitigate the impact of the biocomponent feed on other hydrotreatment aspects of a diesel boiling range feed. Challenged biocomponent feeds can be handled by introducing the biocomponent feed into the ebullating bed reactor in a manner that reduces the fouling impact of the feed.

The method includes: 1) introducing raw gas to a shift reactor to conduct a water-gas shift reaction, and collecting shift gas; 2) introducing the shift gas to a Fischer-Tropsch synthesis device to yield a hydrocarbon fuel and exhaust gas, returning part of the exhaust gas as recycle gas; 3) introducing another part of the exhaust gas to a methanation reactor, allowing a methanation reaction to happen between the part of the exhaust gas and water vapor; 4) introducing a mixed gas product from the methanation reaction to a methane reforming reactor; 5) transporting the hydrogen and carbon monoxide resulting from the methane reforming reaction to a gas separator, separating the hydrogen and obtaining a mixed gas including carbon dioxide; and 6) returning the mixed gas including carbon dioxide to the methane reforming reactor.

The telemetry tool can be programmed to change its operating telemetry mode in response to a downlink command sent by an operator at surface.
