Abstract: An apparatus includes an enclosure defining an interior space and includes a server-rack port configured to engage one or more of racks such that one or more servers installed in each rack are contiguous to the interior space. The enclosure is inside of a room and each server includes a fan that draws air from the interior space into the server and expels the air outside of the enclosure into the room. The apparatus also includes a mixing chamber that is contiguous to the enclosure. The mixing chamber includes a set of one or more dampers that are contiguous to natural air outside of the room and that are opened up when a temperature outside reaches a threshold value.

Abstract: Users may create and/or interact with content that may reference various businesses. For example, a user may submit a search query “Akron Hardware Store” to a search interface that may provide relevant search results for the search query. As provided herein, content suggestions may be provided to the user based upon an occurrence of a business reference of a business. For example, search keywords that resulted in user engagement with the business may be evaluated to identify a set of search keywords (e.g., search queries that led users to an Akron Hardware Store website). A set of content suggestions (e.g., coupons, maps, search queries, website links, images, descriptions, etc.) may be generated based upon the set of search keywords, and may be provided to the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for automatically adding advertisements into a ticker. The disclosure includes receiving a request for a ticker data feed and generating a modified ticker data feed from the original data feed. One or more advertisements are selected and inserted as data items into the modified ticker data feed. The modified ticker data feed is then transmitted to the requester. When rendered on the requestor's device, the modified ticker data feed displays the data items of the originally requested data feed along with the advertisements in a scrolling ticker.

Abstract: A structured file includes information to bind a web data source to a web data query system. Code is embedded within the structured file and is in a code language understood by the web data query system. The code is unrestricted in function. Code language objects are exposed within the web data query system for use by the code to interface with the web data query system and the web data source. A URL is associated with the structured file to enable access of the structured file through the Internet. A unit-based quota method is implemented to manage execution of code in the structured file. The unit-based quota method collapses multiple dimensions of computing resource control into a single unit value, tracks a number of units expended by the code, and stops execution of the code when the number of units expended by the code reaches a set limit.

Abstract: An system can include a server that includes or is associated with a keyword price recommendation module. The module can be configured to recommend an optimal price for a keyword, per referral event, in a search engine marketing campaign. For making such a recommendation, the module can be configured to determine revenue generated per referral event for the keyword according to a number of referral events for the keyword for a plurality of users and revenue generated for the keyword by the plurality of users. It can also be configured to select a return on investment percentage for the keyword, and determine the optimal price for the keyword according to the revenue generated per referral event and the return on investment percentage. Additionally or alternatively, the keyword price recommendation module can be configured to calculate the return on investment percentage for the keyword according to at least one market condition.

Methods are provided in which information is obtained, including, for each of multiple publisher sites, a set of publisher site tags, and for each of multiple advertisements, a set of advertisement tags. Methods are provided that include, in selection of an advertisement to be served in connection with a serving opportunity, utilizing, as a factor in the selection, matching of publisher site tags, associated with a publisher site associated with the serving opportunity, with advertisement tags of the advertisement.

Abstract: In another embodiment, a computer-implemented method for processing and optimizing selection of placement, of advertising content related to a brand, in websites of a network is provided. The computer-implemented method is processed by a server in response to communication from a user that is connected to the server over the Internet. The method includes receiving from the user, attributes of an advertisement to be placed on a brand-centric website that relates to the brand, and also receiving selections for types of websites to place the advertisement. The types of websites do not have to be brand-centric websites, but should include content related to the brand. Then, the method includes obtaining metrics from selected websites and historical performance for similar advertisements when placed on the selected websites. The method includes processing the obtained metrics and historical performance to preliminarily define an advertising model.

A plurality of images and corresponding descriptive information may be collected based on the query. The plurality of images and the descriptive information may be processed to form feature vectors and processed descriptive information respectively. Further, one or more topics may be identified for the plurality of images. Each of the plurality of images may be assigned with one or more topic distribution values corresponding to the one or more topics. The one or more topics correspond to the processed descriptive information. A sparse set of images may be determined based on the feature vectors and the assigned topic distribution values, to summarize the concept. Also, a target summary may be built from the summarized concept, by regularizing one or more distribution constraints.
