Publication number: 20080081573Abstract: Provided is a receiver capable of automatically controlling a gain of the receiver and receiving three or more band signals. A gain controlled receiver includes a low noise amplifier, a first variable gain control amplifier, a frequency mixer, a filter, a second variable gain control amplifier, and a gain control block. The gain controlled receiver automatically controls gains of the low noise amplifier, the first variable gain control amplifier, the frequency mixer, the filter, the second variable gain control amplifier by detecting strength of the signals processed in the receiver. Therefore, without an additional manual tuning operation, the gain of the receiver can be automatically maintained in an optimal state. A multi-band processing receiver includes a first receiving unit, a second receiving unit, and a switch. The multi-band processing receiver can process three or more RF signals in multi-band by using a single receiver.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 1, 2007Publication date: April 3, 2008Applicant: FCI INC.Inventor: Myung Woon HWANG

Publication number: 20070064096Abstract: A roll over audio visual control center (“roll over platform”) designed to be embedded for use within the top of a conference table to display, in an inverted position, a power or communications outlet for use on top of the conference table or to hide, in a regular position, the power or communications outlet under the conference table when not in use. The roll over platform consists of two main parts: a housing and a control center. The housing is rectangular in shape and forms a hollow center. The control center approximates the rectangular shape of the housing and is secured within the hollow center of the housing by a hinge. The hinge enables the rotation of the control center within the hollow center of the housing. The roll over platform further consists of a means to secure the control center to the housing to enable the regular and inverted positions of the control center with respect to the housing.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 18, 2006Publication date: March 22, 2007Applicant: FCI, INC.Inventor: John Beam

Patent number: 7129786Abstract: A bias circuit for a smart power amplifier includes a high power mode bias circuit and a low power mode bias circuit, and operates only one of the bias circuits selectively using a switching circuit according to an input signal. Therefore, the bias circuit of high power mode and the bias circuit of the low power mode are divided and can be optimized according to characteristics of the power. Accordingly, a gain difference with respect to each power can be minimized and the low power mode can be controlled with a small amount of current in a state of initial current with a low power and in a middle power, such that an efficiency of the power amplifier can be improved at low power.Type: GrantFiled: July 26, 2004Date of Patent: October 31, 2006Assignee: FCI Inc.Inventors: Tae-Jin Kim, Seung-Wook Lee, Byoung-Soo Kim, Yong-Woo Kim, Young-Woong Kim, Jin-Ho Shin

Patent number: 6973761Abstract: A bottle support structure and wear plate for use in a rotary capping machine used to apply caps onto the upper threaded neck of a series of plastic containers. The plastic containers have a generally cylindrical body with an outer cylindrical periphery with a diameter and a pedaloid base with spaced pads separated by radial recesses extending from a center recess. The bottle support structure supports the weight of the bottle as the bottle is being capped be prevent the body and base of the bottle from being deformed or crushed during the capping process. The wear plate is a flat ring rotated in unison with a star wheel about a machine axis. The ring has an upwardly facing flat surface and a series of container receiving nests movable in the circular path as the ring is rotated. Each of the nests has at least one elongated bar-like abutment projecting upwardly from the flat surface a given vertical distance. The one or more abutments prevent the bottle from rotating during the capping process.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2003Date of Patent: December 13, 2005Assignee: FCI, Inc.Inventor: Michael H.
