Abstract: A rotary cutter includes an elongated handle having a gripping portion connected to a platform having a peripheral edge. A generally circular blade is rotatably mounted on a shaft extending through an aperture formed in the platform. The cutter also includes a blade guard having an arcuate portion. The guard is rotatable by the user to expose the cutting edge of the blade prior to using the cutter.

Abstract: A rotary cutter including a handle, a cylindrical head formed on one end of the handle and having a planar surface on each side, the handle and head having an interval cavity, an actuating member mounted in the cavity in the handle and head, a blade support formed on the actuating member for movement between a storage position and one of two operating positions with respect to the head, a spring mounted on the actuating member for biasing the actuating member to ta storage position and a latch assembly formed in the actuating member for electively locking the actuating member in one of the two operating positions.

A plurality of display packages form a display package system for automatically forming a chain of a plurality of self-hanging display packages. The tab of a first display package releasably engages the aperture of a second adjacent display package as the first display package is pulled out of the shipping container.

Abstract: The power control system includes a time controlled bi-stable device for causing at least one slave outlet to be controlled in response to a master unit being energized and/or de-energized. The system thus enables the slave outlet only to be energized, and not the master unit, if the master unit is energized, and then de-energized within a short predetermined time interval. Advantageously, the system of the present invention can be controlled remotely by using a conventional remote control device for a television receiver, and the audio from the television receiver is transmitted through the audio receiver. Thus, by using only the remote control device, either the television receiver can be used with the audio receiver, or the audio receiver can be used independently under the control of the television remote control device.
