The service management program executes a room-number-input step of obtaining and inputting the room number of a guest when the guest visits the hotel facility; a lodging management system conjunction step of transmitting the room number of the guest to a lodging management system to obtain information about the guest concerned; and a service indication step of comparing a service management table with information about the guest, and of indicating a service suitable for the guest's attributes. The service management method comprises all of the above steps, and the service management apparatus includes the above program.
Abstract: A memory controller converts controller output signals output from a controller into memory input signals according to the operation specifications of memory chips to operate, and outputs the resultant to the memory chips through a common bus. The memory controller also receives memory output signals output from the memory chips through the common bus, and converts the received signals into controller input signals receivable to the controller. This allows the single memory controller to access the plurality of types of memory chips. As a result, the memory controller can be reduced in chip size, lowering the cost of the memory system.

Abstract: A software architecture for task oriented applications. The architecture utilizes a wrapper as an intermediate structure between an external calling application and a wrapped component or module. The wrapper is written in a script language and acts as a bridge between the external application and the wrapped component. Data is transferred among components through the intermediary of a table of contents (TOC) file which contains data attribute information and a link to the actual data file.
Abstract: Search speed in memory management of memory devices provided with a nonvolatile memory medium that is rewritable in each block which serves as the unit of data storage is improved by providing a free block table and a conversion table. The free block table stores data for each free block address number corresponding to a data-writable free block. The conversion table in the free block table converts externally designated address numbers into address data for blocks and sharing memory area. The conversion table is provided with block address data identification components that identify a block address as being empty or not.
Abstract: A resin flow analysis in a die is performed by CAE or the like to obtain a resin pressure curve at a resin inlet port or a resin pressure curve at a nozzle end portion of a molding machine. Injection (air shot) is performed while a nozzle is separated from a die, so that an injection pressure curve Pa to be detected at this time is obtained. From the injection pressure curve and the resin pressure curve, an injection pressure command curve serving as a molding condition in mass production is obtained. The resin pressure curve obtained by the resin flow analysis is compensated by the injection pressure curve in an air shot for a time lag and pressure loss caused by the mechanical elements of an injection molding machine, so that molding conditions in mass production can be easily obtained. In addition, a pressure loss at the nozzle portion is also obtained, so that an injection pressure command curve is obtained from the pressure loss, the injection pressure curve, and the resin pressure curve.

Abstract: A method for allocating transmission resources to a constant rate connection includes determining a maximum cell clumping value for a constant rate connection based on a peak cell rate and a cell delay variation tolerance for the constant rate connection. An allocation bandwidth is determined for the constant rate connection based on the maximum cell clumping value. The allocation bandwidth comprises the bandwidth at which no cells of the constant rate connection are lost and the cell delay variation tolerance for the constant rate connection is satisfied. The allocation bandwidth is allocated at a network element for transmission of the constant rate connection.
Abstract: After auto-placement, nets are classified into groups each having logically equivalent signals, terminal placement range of each net is determined, and overlap regions of respective pairs of the ranges in the same group is obtained. In each net of each pair having this overlap region, such an input terminal in the overlap region is found out that an wiring length between an output terminal and the input terminal is maximum (S30 and S31), and a decrement &Dgr; in wiring length is calculated assuming that the two input terminals found out are exchanged (S32). If &Dgr;>0 (S33), then the two input terminals are exchanged with each other (S34). Such processing is repeated until &Dgr;≦0.
