Abstract: Embodiments provide for card games such as blackjack that allow at least one card to be dealt from a special deck (e.g., a restricted deck) into a hand, while the remainder of the cards for that hand (and, in some embodiments, other hands involved in the game event) are dealt from a main/conventional deck. In accordance with some embodiments, the at least one card dealt from the special deck is dealt into a hand of the player while in other embodiments it is dealt into the hand of a dealer and/or an opponent player. A special deck may be a deck that includes cards configured to provide an advantage to the player (e.g., in a blackjack game, restricted deck may only include high value cards if being used for a player hand or only low value cards if being used for a dealer hand).

Abstract: A system and methods for tracking and fulfillment of casino gift items. For instance, the system animates a list gifts that are available to the player account via a casino promotion. One or more of the gift items can be pre-selected before being earned. The pre-selected gift items appear on a user interface that combines content for the gift promotion with content for a wagering game played during the player account session. A progress meter, for each gift item, shows an incremental increase in rewards points until enough rewards points accrue to redeem the gift item. The system automatically interfaces with a store front that provides the gift item. The system transacts fulfillment of the gift redemption and initiates (via the store front) the shipment of the gift item directly to a mailing address associated with the player account.

Abstract: A gaming machine and method for operating a slot machine game in which virtual or mechanical reels include numbers from which a prize amount is produced by concatenation. In response to a wager activation by a player, the reels display conduct a base game including spinning the reels and stopping to produce a respective randomly selected outcome having a plurality of symbols including single digit numbers which are positive numbers and zero, double digit numbers which are positive and double zero, and blank symbols. A prize amount associated with the outcome is identified by concatenating the single and double digit numbers along a designated payline.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for delivering a requested game experience at any of multiple distributed venues. Each venue can include respective gameplay areas and multimedia gaming equipment for delivering a game experience in each gameplay area. The system can include a booking system for managing game bookings across the venues and a master central server configured to generate game sessions based on bookings at the booking system.

Abstract: A computer system including a server having a processor and a memory, the memory having a video database and a music database, the video database storing at least one video file having a plurality of video file markers, and the music database storing at least one music file having a plurality of music file markers, wherein the server receives and decodes encoded data from computer readable code, identifies and retrieves from the music database a music file based on the decoded data, synchronizes the retrieved music file with one of the video files by aligning the video file markers of the video file with the music file markers for the retrieved music file to produce a synchronized video-music file, and transmits the synchronized video-music file to a display, wherein the video file markers are generated for each video file and the music file markers are generated for each music file.

Abstract: In some aspects, the disclosure is directed to methods and systems for secure and authenticated tracking of entity possession via a lightweight centralized or distributed ledger. Ownership records of different entities may be recorded on an immutable ledger such that provenance of the entities is verifiable and a user cannot create or counterfeit an entity. In some implementations, the system may store metadata of entities in a separate database that may store records for each entity and correspond to the respective entity's virtual identifier, enabling the ledger records to contain much less data, saving memory resources and the energy that is required to maintain the ledger. In some implementations, distributed incremental values may be provided to members of an ownership or possession chain of an entity, which may encourage compliance, reporting of ownership transfer, and encourage additional transfers.

The gaming machine includes a game control unit programmed to display a game screen including a primary game area a plurality of primary game reels and a bonus feature event area including a plurality of bonus prize cells. Each bonus prize cell is configured to display a randomly selected bonus prize, and is operable as one of an active bonus prize cell and an inactive bonus prize cell. Each bonus prize cell is associated with a wager amount value. The game control unit initiates an instance of the game by receiving a wager being placed on the game by the player, selecting bonus prize cells having associated wager amount values equal to or less than the wager amount of the received wager, and operating the selected bonus prize cells as active bonus prize cells.

The game-logic circuitry is configured to perform the operations of: spinning and stopping symbol-bearing reels to land one or more first value-bearing symbols borne by the reels in the array; animating the array to tag the symbol positions in which the first value-bearing symbols land; again spinning and stopping the symbol-bearing reels to land a second value-bearing symbol borne by the reels in one of the tagged symbol positions; awarding an award based on the value borne by the second value-bearing symbol; and animating the array to untag the one of the tagged symbol positions and any other ones of the tagged symbol positions that are in a cluster with the one of the tagged symbol positions.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method may involve obtaining, for an iteration of a computation that includes a first and a second calculation, a first input signal and a second input signal. In response to obtaining the first and second input signals and based thereon, parameters of the computation may be modified within a predetermined period of time that simulates real-time operation of an apparatus. Modifying the parameters may involve generating a first output signal that is statistically proportional to the combination of the first and second input signals, generating a second output signal that represents an expected value percentage of the first calculation, and adjusting a likelihood of a particular result being generated by the second calculation based on the first output signal and the expected value percentage of the first calculation based on the second output signal. The iteration of the computation may be executed using the modified parameters.

Abstract: An instant lottery ticket game system includes a set of scratch-off lottery ticket blanks, each lottery ticket blank having a front face and a back face and a game play area on the front face with play indicia that presents a pre-determined game outcome, the play indicia covered by a scratch-off coating (SOC). A coating layer is applied over at least the game play area such that an entirety of the front face presents an empty composition area void of lottery ticket indicia. The set of lottery ticket blanks are housed within an automated dispenser. An interface is configured with the dispenser and is in communication with a printer associated with the dispenser and accepts input of composition indicia from a patron for printing on portions of or the entirety of the front face to generate a finished scratch-off lottery ticket prior to dispensing the finished lottery ticket.
