  • Patent number: 12109076
Abstract: A biopsy marker having a spring-loaded anchor. The biopsy marker includes an insertion orientation and an anchored orientation. In the insertion orientation, the biopsy marker is manipulated under force to reduce the lateral span/cross-sectional area of the marker. In the anchored orientation, the biopsy marker is released and free to actively spring into a configuration in which the lateral span/cross-sectional area is greater than the lateral span/cross-sectional area of the biopsy marker when in the insertion orientation. In an embodiment, the spring-loaded anchor is configured to spring about a predefined rotational axis. An embodiment of the biopsy marker may be comprised of a single wire construction.

  • Patent number: 12065699
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for producing a peptide for the treatment (in particular, immunotherapy), monitoring, or diagnosis of a disease in a subject. This method is achieved by obtaining information pertaining to a genome read, for example an exome read, of the subject and a mutation thereof, and, as necessary, information regarding the RNA sequence of the subject and information regarding the MHC type of the subject, analyzing an epitope related to the mutation on the basis of the information pertaining to the genome read (for example, the exome read) and the mutation, arbitrary information from the RNA sequence, the MHC type information, and information regarding the disease, and producing a peptide, as necessary, on the basis of information regarding the epitope.

  • Patent number: 11965509
Abstract: An internal gear pump or motor includes inner and outer rotors that mesh together. An internal electric motor or generator may include a stator supported by a support element that passes through bearings of the outer rotor and the inner rotor may act as a rotor of the electric motor or generator. With or without the stator, the support element may support bearings of the inner rotor. The support element may be, for example, an eccentric shaft. Fluids may be supplied via the support element, if present, for cooling, lubrication or to flush a working fluid out of portions of the pump or motor, such as bearings. Flushing may also occur via channels in the housing with or without the presence of the support element. Axial faces of one of a pair of adjacent elements, for example the inner rotor and the outer rotor, may include portions for improved axial sealing and wearing in of the other of the pair. Fluid may enter and exit chambers between the inner and outer rotors by radial ports.

  • Patent number: 11933179
Abstract: An extraction well system is disclosed that allows for isolation of electrical cables from underground mine atmosphere. The extraction well system provides for a well casing that extends downwardly proximate to an existing mine cavity and an extension casing that extends downwardly below the mine roof. In one embodiment the extension casing is external to the well casing and is attached to the well casing mechanically such as with a dual thread reducer. The extension runs from above the mine roof to below the mine floor and is perforated in the area of the mine cavity to allow liquid to drain into the bottom of the extension well. In a second embodiment, the extension casing is interior to the well casing and is attached for example by an internal liner hanger. In this embodiment, the extension casing runs from above the mine roof to below the desired minimum liquid level and it is the well casing that extends downwardly in the extension well and which is perforated to allow liquids to flow into the well.
