Abstract: A phase change microcapsule for drilling fluid cooling and its preparation method and application, belonging to the field of oilfield chemistry technology; the preparation method of the phase change microcapsule of the invention includes the steps as follows: the core materials of NaNO3 and KNO3 are dried, heated, melted, cooled and ground to obtain a phase change material mixture; added emulsifier into the linseed oil, then heated and stirred to obtain the oil phase; the phase change material mixture were added into the suspension of cellulose nanofibers (CNFs), then stirred followed by adding ammonium hydroxide to obtain the water phase; mixed the water phase with the oil phase, heated and stirred to form water-in-oil (W/O) emulsion; then added shell prepolymer material (tetraethyl silicate) into the emulsion, after centrifugation, washing and drying, the phase change microcapsule for cooling drilling fluid was obtained.

Abstract: A drilling fluid includes an aqueous base fluid; 1 to 30 wt. % of an okra composition; 10 wt. % of clay particles; and 0.005 to 0.5 wt. % of a base, each wt. % based on a total weight of the drilling fluid composition. The okra composition is uniformly disposed on surfaces of the clay particles. The clay particles disposed with the okra composition are present in the drilling fluid composition in the form of a composite. A pellet made from the clay particles treated with the okra composition has a swelling value at least 75% less than a swelling value of the pellet in an aqueous composition that does not contain the okra composition, as determined by a linear swell meter. Abstract: A sealing gel with delayed gelation for well cementation, its preparation method, and application are provided. The sealing gel with delayed gelation for well cementation includes 2-3 parts of anionic polyacrylamide, 3-4 parts of cationic acrylamide, 1 part of stabilizer, 1 part of cross-linking agent and 6 parts of distilled water; the stabilizer is obtained by the reaction of citric acid and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium under the action of initiator, the cross-linking agent is obtained by the reaction of chromium lactate and chromium nicotinate under the action of azo diisobutyl amidine hydrochloride and tetramethylethylenediamine. Based on the purpose of well cementation, the sealing gel has pH sensitivity, which prolongs the gelation time of the gel that is originally rapidly formed at a certain temperature, so that it can be added to the pre-liquid system.

Abstract: A rear-end collision alarm apparatus featuring remote alarming is provided, including an alert detector device and an alert receiver device. The alert detector device is mounted on a preset warning object (such as a warning triangle and a cone). The alert receiver device is worn on or carried by a user. The alert detector device includes a first light source module, an infrared detection module, and a first Bluetooth module. The alert detector device is placeable, together with the warning object, at a predetermined remote distance from a traffic accident or construction site, where the first light source module may serve as a warning through light flashing. When the infrared detection module detects an object entering a detection range, the alert detector device transmits an alert signal through the first Bluetooth module to the alert receiver device to have the alert receiver device instantaneously emit alarming light and alarming sounds.
Abstract: A method for a CMS includes obtaining, at a CMS ECU, images of an environment surrounding a commercial vehicle from a first CMS camera and a second CMS camera disposed on opposing sides of the commercial vehicle. The method also includes displaying a first image feed from the first CMS camera on a first CMS display; displaying a second image feed from the second CMS camera on a second CMS display that is separate from the first CMS display; and based on detection of a fault condition in which the CMS ECU stops receiving the first image feed from the first CMS camera, performing a remedial action.
Abstract: A fishing rod holder apparatus for securing a fishing rod to a vehicle includes a bracket and a rod receiver. The bracket is shaped to position a handle of the fishing rod above and laterally offset from a hood of the vehicle. The rod receiver is shaped and oriented to hold the handle and orient the fishing rod to extend upwardly and rearwardly from the rod receiver with respect to the vehicle. The bracket is adapted to receive existing fasteners of the vehicle.

Abstract: A deployment circuit for a pyrotechnic device is provided. An example deployment circuit comprises a driver circuit, a monitoring circuit and a control circuit. The driver circuit energizes the pyrotechnic device by applying a voltage or current to a first terminal and second terminal. The monitoring circuit measures a voltage across the first terminal and second terminal, processes the measured voltage, and determines whether the processed voltage is greater than a threshold. In response to a processed voltage above the threshold, the monitoring circuit asserts a comparison signal. The control circuit receives a fire request signal and the comparison signal. In response to the fire request signal, the control circuit generates a control signal to energize the pyrotechnic device via the driver circuit and determines whether the comparison signal is asserted. In response to determining the comparison signal is de-asserted, the control circuit energizes again the pyrotechnic device.

Abstract: An airbag inflator assembly includes a cylindrical housing and internal components disposed in the cylindrical housing. The internal components include an initiator assembly, a generant, an internal nozzle, and a canister downstream of the internal nozzle. A center vent is secured to a downstream end of the cylindrical housing and includes a central passageway adjacent the canister for products of combustion and an exit passage that directs the products of combustion out of the assembly. The internal components and the center vent define a tortuous path for the products of combustion.

Abstract: A flattened expanded metal strip (9) is wrapped into an airbag inflator filter (21) with the strip oriented such that the flattened rough side (17) of the strip is pointing toward the inside diameter (ID) of the filter and the flattened smooth side (15) is pointing towards the outside diameter (OD). With this orientation, the filter (21) is able to capture more slag than filters made using the standard wrapping method in which the smooth side is oriented inward. The expanded metal can be of various types including, for example, variable expanded metal (VEM) or standard expanded metal (SEM).
