  • Patent number: 11553782
Abstract: A manual oral care implement comprises a handle, a connector and a head, the head being repeatedly attachable to and detachable from the handle via the connector. The handle has a distal end and a proximal end opposite to the distal end and adjacent to the head when the head is attached to the handle. The proximal end has an upper surface that is at least partially chamfered. The handle has a longitudinal axis and a cross-sectional area extending substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The chamfered surface and the cross-sectional area define therebetween an angle ? from about 15° to about 30°.

  • Patent number: 11544845
Abstract: A digital imaging method of analyzing pixel data of an image of a user's body for determining a user-specific trapped hair value before removing hair is disclosed. The digital imaging method includes: aggregating training images of respective individuals' bodies before removing hair; training, using the pixel data of the training images, a trapped hair model to determine trapped hair values associated with a trapped hair scale ranging from least trapped hair to most trapped hair; receiving an image of a user's body before removing hair; analyzing the user image using the trapped hair model to determine a user-specific trapped hair value; generating a user-specific electronic recommendation designed to address a feature identifiable within the pixel data of the user's body based on the user-specific trapped hair value; and rendering the recommendation on a display screen of a user computing device.

  • Patent number: 11465306
Abstract: A grooming device. The grooming device includes a handle having proximal and distal ends, an implement connecting structure, grooming implement, displacement sensor, and power source providing power to the displacement sensor. The implement connecting structure is pivotably connected to the proximal end of the handle about a first handle axis and has a connection element and an eject element that is moveable within the implement connecting structure along a second handle axis. The implement connecting structure also has a location element pivotably connected to the eject element such that as the implement connecting structure moves about the first handle axis the location element remains stationary relative to the handle and as the eject element moves along the second handle axis the location element is displaced relative to the handle and the displacement sensor detects displacement of the location element. The grooming implement is connected to the implement connecting structure.

  • Patent number: 11468490
Abstract: A digital facial image from a user is collected. Digital facial images from a plurality of people are collected from a database. A neural network is used to compare a plurality of pixels of the digital facial image of the user to a plurality of pixels of the digital facial images from a plurality of people to determine a facial shape type of the user. A neural network is used to compare the plurality of pixels from the digital facial image of the user to the digital facial images from a plurality of people to determine an ability of the user to grow hair in an area of the user's face. A facial hair style is recommended to the user based on the facial shape type of the user and the ability of the user to grow hair in an area of the user's face.

  • Patent number: 11465307
Abstract: The invention discloses utilizing isostatic-press (IP) processes apply a polymeric material (e.g, a PTFE foil) to uncoated razor blade edges forming thin, dense, and uniform coatings on blade edges which in turn exhibit low initial cutting forces correlating with more comfortable shaves. The isostatic press may be a hot isostatic press (HIP) or a cold isostatic press (CIP) or any other isostatic press process. The HIP conditions may include an environment of elevated temperatures and pressures in an inert atmosphere. The CIP conditions may include room temperature and elevated pressure. The polymeric material may be a fluoropolymer or non-fluoropolymeric material or any composite thereof. The lower surface of the polymeric material may be modified (e.g., chemical etching) to enhance adhesion to the blade edge. Two or more layers of polymeric material of similar or different properties may be isostatically-pressed onto the uncoated blades.
