Abstract: Digital imaging systems and methods are described for determining a user-specific skin redness value of a user's skin after removing hair. An example method may be performed by one or more processors and may include aggregating training images comprising pixel data of skin of individuals after removing hair. A skin redness model may be trained using the training images to output skin redness values associated with a degree of skin redness from least to most red. The method may include receiving an image of a user including pixel data of the user's skin after hair is removed from the skin, analyzing the image using the skin redness model to determine a user-specific skin redness value, generating a user-specific recommendation designed to address a feature identifiable within the pixel data of the user's skin, and rendering the recommendation on a display screen of a user computing device.
Abstract: A handle. The handle can include a main body weighing greater than about 60 grams, the main body comprising a main frame and a secondary frame overlying the main frame. A discrete first arm having a first proximal portion and a first distal end can be coupled at the first proximal portion to a first location on the main frame. A discrete second arm having a second proximal portion and a second distal end can be coupled at the second proximal portion being to a second location on the main frame. The first and second distal ends being in spaced relationship and having pivotally coupled therebetween a pivoting head.

Abstract: A shaving razor cartridge with a housing having a front portion with a front face and an upper skin contacting surface. At least one blade is mounted to the housing. The blade has a cutting edge extending toward the front portion. The upper skin contacting surface defines a bifurcated channel having an opening at a first end toward the front face and a pair of openings at an opposing end to facilitate the flow of fluid.

Abstract: Digital imaging systems and methods are described for analyzing pixel data of an image of a shaving stroke for determining pressure being applied to a user's skin. A plurality of training images of a plurality of individuals are aggregated, each of the training images comprising pixel data of a respective individual when shaving with a shaving razor. A pressure model, trained with the pixel data, is operable to determine pressure being applied to the respective individual's skin. An image of a user when shaving with the shaving razor is received and analyzed, by the pressure model, to determine a user-specific pressure being applied to the user's skin by the shaving razor when a user shaving stroke is taken. A user-specific electronic recommendation to address at least one feature identifiable within the pixel data is generated and rendered, on a display screen of a user computing device.

Abstract: In one aspect, the invention features, in general, a method of assembling a shaving razor cartridge by providing a housing having a primary guard and a secondary cap. A first blade having a cutting edge is mounted to the housing. A second blade having a cutting edge is mounted to the housing. A bridge member having a pair of spaced apart legs is mounted to the housing immediately between the first blade and the second blade. The first blade, the second blade and the bridge member are secured to the housing with at least one clip.

Abstract: A shaving razor system with a cartridge having a proximal end and a distal end. A handle having a proximal end is connected to the distal end of the cartridge. The handle has an enlarged distal end portion. The handle has a maximum width of 28 mm to 35 mm at the enlarged distal end portion and tapers 10 degrees to 15 degrees along a first length that extends a terminal end of the handle to a second width of 20 mm to 25 mm toward the proximal end. The handle has a maximum thickness of 8 mm to 14 mm along the first length.
