Abstract: A process for reducing the odor emission of aqueous vinylaromatic/1,3-diene copolymer dispersions and of redispersion powders obtainable therefrom by drying, is by emulsion polymerization of a mixture containing at least one vinylaromatic and at least one 1,3-diene in the presence of one or more surfactant substances and optionally drying of the polymer dispersion obtained thereby. There are 0.01% to 15.0% by weight of one or more monomers of the branched or straight-chain alkyl esters having 1 to 8 C atoms in the alkyl radical of monounsaturated monocarboxylic or dicarboxylic acids and 0.01% to 15.0% by weight of one or more monomers based upon the vinyl esters of branched or straight-chain aliphatic carboxylic acids having 1 to 10 C atoms which are added in one step or in two successive steps toward the end of the polymerization, when the total content of free monomers in the aqueous copolymer dispersion is in the range from ≧0 to ≦20% by weight.
Abstract: A knee restraint device for vehicles has a base, a knee protector component which is movable toward the knees of a vehicle occupant, and a drive structure for driving the knee protector component toward the knees of a vehicle occupant. The drive structure is arranged between the base and the knee protector component. Further, a limiting- and positioning structure is provided for limiting the travel of the knee protector component towards the knees of a vehicle occupant and for positioning the knee protector component relative to the knees of a vehicle occupant. The limiting-and positioning structure is fastened to the base and is constructed in one piece with the knee protector component. The limiting-and positioning structure is deformable on activation of the drive structure and has a predetermined rigidity, this rigidity-being sufficient so as to prevent any change in shape of the limiting-positioning structure under its weight.

Abstract: A reflector antenna is disclosed with a stator portion and a rotor portion which is supported for rotation relative to the stator portion about a rotation axis. A reflector that is connected by an electrical connection with the stator portion, is secured to the rotor portion. The electrical connection is formed as a flexible connecting cable, wherein one end of the cable is attached to the rotor portion and the other end is attached to the stator portion. A segment of the connecting cable rotates with half the rotation speed of the rotor portion and with the same rotation direction as the rotor portion.

Abstract: A closing device has a key-operable closing cylinder which is simultaneously a component of a pusher and serves as a hand-operated thrusting device for operating locking elements. A central locking system can be used to actuate a lever with a drive. Malfunctions result when the central locking lever, moved to a secured position by the drive of the central locking system, blocks the components in the closing cylinder such that the key cannot be inserted into the closing cylinder when a pushing arm which is rotated by the closing cylinder is in an inactive position and blocked. This is avoided by using coupling elements which are provided between the supporting points of the lever allocated to the central locking system and also between the supporting points of the pushing arm. In accordance with the rotated position of the key in the closing cylinder, the coupling elements change between coupling and uncoupling positions. The lever is uncoupled when the pushing arm is in the inactive position.
Abstract: The invention concerns a packaging tray (1) suitable for permanently holding liquid (5) escaping from a packaged article (6). At least on and/or in its base wall (2) the packaging tray (1) has at least one cylindrical bulge (4) which is open towards the interior of the packaging tray (1) and whose diameter, which remains constant over the entire depth of the bulge (4), is between 2 and 6 mm, its depth being 1.5-times the diameter. The invention also concerns a corresponding packaging device.

Abstract: The invention relates to an expansible fixing plug (10), which is manufactured as a two-material fixing plug from a relatively soft and a relatively hard plastics material. To achieve a low insertion torque of an expansion screw as the expansible fixing plug (10) is expanded, yet nevertheless a high anchoring force, the invention proposes constructing from the relatively hard plastics material expansion fingers (22), having cross-sectional areas increasing in size in the direction towards the leading end of the expansible fixing plug (10), which expansion fingers are embedded in expansion tongues (14) of the relatively soft plastics material having a cross-section corresponding to a circular segment, the expansion tongues (14) being connected with one another by dilatation zones (16). Abstract: Partitions are provided, in particular for exhibition or show stands. These partitions can be assembled from a plurality of inherently rigid wall elements, which are each essentially formed from a frame and at least two panel plates covering the frame on the outside. The individual wall elements are releasably connectable to one another by coupling members. Each coupling member is essentially constructed from three partial elements, namely two frame connections (7, 49) and a connecting element (8, 46). The two frame connections are arranged in each case in the region of the outside of the vertical frame limbs (6) of two wall elements which are to be connected. The frame connections (7, 49) and the connecting element (8, 46) can engage behind one another in a clamping fashion. In this manner, individual wall elements can be removed from an already assembled partition by the controlled removal of individual connecting elements.
