Preferably the composition also includes, ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are independently hydrogen, an alkyl or alkoxy group of form 1 to 5 carbons. Preferably r is 1; m is 4 and R is nonyl and the molar ratio of WCl.sub.m O.sub.n to ##STR3## is from about 1:1 to about 1:3.
Abstract: A nonwoven texturized fabric is produced by embossing a molten film of a polymer blend of high density polyethylene and polystyrene with hexagonal shaped bosses, biaxially stretching the thus embossed film to produce an openwork net and then texturizing the net with special texturizing rollers to flatten and deform some of the bosses and bend some of the bands at an angle to the plane of the fabric to produce an essentially irregular pattern of bosses connected by bands.
Abstract: The photosensitive composition of this invention contains (1) an ethylenically unsaturated component capable of forming a high polymer by addition polymerization or crosslinking, (2) a cyclic cisoid conjugated diene as a photooxidizable component capable of reacting with singlet oxygen to form an endoperoxide, and (3) a photooxygenation sensitizer. A process for preparing a photosensitive element, such as a relief printing plate, embodying a layer of such a composition is described.
Abstract: A process and apparatus for the blow molding of oriented, hollow containers from tubular parisons in which a tubing of plastic material at a suitable orientation temperature for the material is passed by a puller assembly to a cutter assembly. The free end of the tubing is grasped by a parison transfer assembly, after which parisons are cut from the tubing by the cutter assembly and positioned by the transfer assembly for placement within blow molders. The first of two blow molders moves toward the tubing centerline from a molding position to receive a parison. The parison transfer assembly is extended vertically to place the parison within the molding cavity of the open blow molder. The upper end of the parison is grasped by a tube clamp, and as the parison transfer assembly retracts, the parison is stretched prior to molder closure. The closed blow molder returns to its molding position to complete the blow molding of a finished, oriented container.

Abstract: Tape joint cement compositions suitable for use with wallboard are disclosed wherein at least one hydroxypropylhydroxyethylcellulose having specified substitution levels is employed as the water retention aid and thickener. Blends of hydroxypropylhydroxyethylcellulose with (a) at least one cellulose ether, such as, hydroxyethylcellulose, hydroxypropylcellulose, methylcellulose, methylhydroxyethylcellulose, and methylhydroxypropylcellulose or (b) a hydroxyalkylguar, such as hydroxypropylguar and hydroxyethylguar are also disclosed.
Abstract: This invention relates to an improvement in filament winding large, hollow, tubular structures having significant axial reinforcement in their thick walls by means including (a) using a hollow, light weight mandrel adapted to expand radially at elevated temperatures and windings of alternate layers of filamentary materials positioned substantially axially and substantially circumferentially relative to the longitudinal axis of the mandrel wherein the alternate layers are preferably in a certain thermosettable resin matrix and wound in certain fashion and (b) heating the filament wound mandrel to cure the thermosettable resin wherein heat from inside and out of the mandrel controls the cure and expansion during the heating step. The thick walls preferably incorporate graphite fibers for significant strength in the reinforcement provided by the filamentary materials.
