  • Patent number: 6237484
Abstract: A screen printing apparatus 199, 169 has a roll paper vibrating device which vibrates roll paper in contact with the lower surface of a screen mask in a direction perpendicular to a moving direction of the roll paper while the roll paper is being moved in contact with the lower surface of the screen mask. Thereby, the roll paper in contact with the lower surface of the screen mask is moved in a waveform-shape pattern. Therefore, the cumulative contact area of the roll paper on the lower surface of the mask is increased, and it is possible to efficiently remove residue, such as paste attached onto the lower surface of the screen mask of the printing apparatus and paste attached inside pattern openings of the screen mask, to maintain a good printing performance.

  • Patent number: 5910001
Abstract: A method of adjusting the engaged clearance between rotors of a screw compressor which has a male rotor and a female rotor inside a casing, both of the rotors being rotated while maintaining a required very small clearance using timing gears fixed individually to the rotors through shrink fitting, wherein the very small clearance between the rotors is set to a required value by loosening the shrink fitting between one of the timing gears and the rotor on which the one of the timing gears is mounted, while movement of the other of the timing gears is being restricted; and intermittently applying torques to the rotor on which the one of the timing gears is mounted using a servo motor. In this way, it is possible to obtain a screw compressor in which a very small clearance between the rotors can be set to a required value in a short time, and in which high reliability in the symmetrizing adjustment and a high compressing performance can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 5578159
Abstract: In a hot press according to the present invention, a control panel detects the fact that the viscosity of bonding resin of multilayer circuit board materials is minimized by taking thereinto at least one of the values measured by a speed sensor of a lower bolster, a measuring portion for measuring a control current of an electromagnetic proportional relief valve and a relief amount detector for detecting the relief amount of the electromagnetic proportional relief valve, and gives an instruction of an optimum air pressure addition timing. Accordingly, even if the multilayer circuit board materials and the like are varied, it is always possible to change over from a vacuum condition to an air pressure added condition at the best timing, thereby making it possible to obtain a multilayer circuit board of a uniform thickness without causing generation of void.

  • Patent number: 5558015
Abstract: A hot press used, for example, for producing a thin printed board and a multilayered board, such as liquid crystal glass board bonded by a low-viscosity adhesive, and to a hot press suitable for forming a board requiring uniform bonding pressure. A hot press includes an upper and a lower bolster arranged in vertically opposed relation to each other, an upper and a lower heat plate respectively disposed in opposed relation to the upper and lower bolsters, a device for moving at least one of the upper and lower bolsters toward the other to produce a pressing force between the upper and lower heat plates, and pressure vessels respectively mounted on the heat plates. Each pressure vessel is made of a thin film and is filled with a fluid heating medium. When substrate blanks are interposed between the upper and lower pressure vessels and pressed by them, surface pressure for adhesive bonding becomes uniform, and heat from the heat plates is uniformly transferred to the blanks.

  • Patent number: 5555798
Abstract: A hot press for producing multilayered substrate blanks wherein the substrate blanks are placed between upper and lower bolsters via heat insulating plates and heating plates. The multilayered substrate blanks are fitted into a frame which is provided on the upper bolster and the multilayered substrate blanks are pressed and heated. The frame is fashioned of a material having a coefficient of thermal expansion less than the coefficients of thermal expansion of the multilayered substrate blanks. When the multilayered substrate blanks are pressed and heated, outside dimensions become equal to the inside dimensions of the frame. Thus, no flow of an adhesive out of the multilayered substrate blanks occurs, and as a result it is possible to produce a high density multilayered substrate with a large number of layers.

  • Patent number: 5490084
Abstract: Electronic components such as integrated circuit components have rows of parallel leads extending from the sides of their bodies. In detecting bent leads of an electronic component, at least two measuring lines are set along each row of leads. The intersections between the measuring lines and the leads are extracted and processed to detect a bend in leads. The electronic component is photographed to produce image data which is stored in a memory. At least two measuring lines are virtually set along the row of leads of the image data stored in the memory. An intersection extractor extracts, from the image data, the intersections between the measuring lines and predetermined leads in the row of leads. A detector then uses the extracted intersections to detect bent leads.

  • Patent number: 5467912
Abstract: There is provided a reflow soldering apparatus for soldering electronic parts to a circuit substrate by blowing various inert hot gases of a desired density and temperature. A device for detecting whether or not a processing object is being conveyed into the apparatus is provided, so that the amount of inert gas to be supplied and the gas blowing speed are decreased when no processing object is present inside the apparatus. As a result, the amount of gas which flows out is made small, and a decrease in the temperature of the apparatus can be prevented. When the processing object is conveyed into the apparatus, the amount of supplied gas is increased so as to obtain a sufficient gas density. Thus, it is possible to prevent solder from being oxidized, and satisfactory solderability can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 5437727
Abstract: An apparatus for drawing a pattern of a photoresist on a substrate has a nozzle for discharging the paste and a substrate-supporting table movable along the X and Y-axes relative to the paste drawing opening of the nozzle. The nozzle is fixed to a Z-axis table which carries an optical displacement meter which measures the clearance between the substrate and the paste discharging opening. According to the results of the measurements, the Z-axis table is moved toward and away from the substrate so that the clearance is maintained at a desired distance. The optical displacement meter has a measuring point on the substrate. The measuring point is positioned so as not to interfere with the paste line which is drawn on the substrate with paste discharged from the nozzle.
