Abstract: Portable, hand held, battery operated, hydraulic tools are provided with a tool frame and one or more interchangeable working heads. When the working head is connected with the tool frame, a piston actuated by a hydraulic system within the tool frame applies force to the working head to perform a task. A coupling mechanism holds the working head to the tool frame. The coupling mechanism allows the working head to be removed from the tool frame and another working head to be joined to the tool frame. The coupling mechanism can hold the working head at a fixed rotational angle with respect to the tool frame. The coupling mechanism can also allow the working head to rotate with respect to the tool frame.

Abstract: A mold includes a first mold portion, a second mold portion, and a projection. The second mold portion is secured against the first mold portion along a draw axis to form at least one mold cavity. The second mold portion includes an internal surface oriented at an oblique angle relative to the draw axis. The projection extends from the internal surface along a projection axis. The projection forms an elongated profile including a first end, a second ends, and a pair of side surfaces extending between the first end and the second end.

Abstract: A control system for a multi-phase power system includes a first phase line, a second phase line, and a third phase line. The control system includes a plurality of regulator controls including a first regulator control configured to control a first tap changer associated with the first phase line, a second regulator control configured to control a second tap changer associated with the second phase line, a third regulator control configured to control a third tap changer associated with the third phase line, and an electronic processor coupled to the first regulator control, the second regulator control, and the third regulator control. The electronic processor is configured to regulate the voltage of the multi-phase system using the first, second, and third regulator controls.

Abstract: A repair clip for a gang box with a damaged threaded opening is provided. The repair clip includes a top wall, a front wall, and a rear wall. The top wall has a replacement opening that is positionable over the damaged threaded opening. The front wall has a leg depends from the top wall at a front shoulder region. The front wall and/or the front shoulder region are elastically deformable so as to apply a clamping force on an inner wall of the gang box. The rear wall depends from the top wall at a rear shoulder region, the rear wall and/or the rear shoulder region being elastically deformable so as to apply a clamping force on an outer wall of the gang box. The replacement opening is elongated in a direction between the front and rear walls.

The cover can be placed over the device during construction to limit the ingress of debris.

Abstract: Disclosed is a handle clamp for an exothermic mold. The clamp includes a pair of legs, each having a plurality of rods that are shaped to fit into engagement holes on sections of the mold. The rods of each leg engage with one section of the mold. Engagement brackets are rotatably disposed on one or more or the rods. The brackets each have a thumb bolt that can be extended toward a mold section connected with the clamp. When engaged with the mold section, the thumb bolt stabilizes the mold section on the handle. A detent mechanism is provided between the bracket and the leg of the handle. The detent mechanism releasably holds the bracket in one of a selected plurality of rotational positions with respect to the rod. By selecting different rotational positions for the brackets, the handle can be configured to engage with different configurations of mold. The thumb bolts that are biased toward the mold section by a spring. The bolts include a key that can be aligned or misaligned with a key slot on the bracket.

Abstract: A hot stick installation accessory is provided. The accessory includes a cap portion and a moving section. The cap portion has a region that removably holds an electrical coupling component. The moving section slides with respect to the cap portion between an open and a closed position and pivots with respect to the cap portion between a first position and a second position. The moving section includes a threaded member that is engageable by a hook of a hot stick so that rotation of the hot stick, and thus of the hook, results in rotation of the threaded member into threaded engagement with the moving section to move the moving section between the open and closed positions.

Abstract: A tool for removing insulation from a cable that includes a housing, a blade, a ramp assembly, and a clearance window. The housing has a central opening. The blade has a cutting edge and is secured to the housing so that the cutting edge protrudes into the central opening. The ramp assembly has a cable support portion, a ramp base, and a biasing member. The cable support portion is pivotally connected to the ramp base, which is secured to the housing so that the ramp base protrudes into the central opening opposite the cutting edge. The clearance window is positioned with respect to the blade so that an insulation chip produced during removal of the insulation from the cable, during rotation of the housing and cable with respect to one another, travels through the clearance window. The biasing member biases the cable support portion away from the ramp base.

The method also includes setting a first frequency as a set frequency. The method further includes sending a first request from the first client to the first server at the set frequency.
