Abstract: An impact wrench has a casing accommodating rotatable anvil and shaft, the shaft supporting a hammer having a body with longitudinally extending passages in which pins are received for axial reciprocations which pins are engaged with the anvil in one position. A driving member received in an axial passage of the hammer body is coupled to the shaft to perform rotation and axial movement, the driving member being connected to the hammer body for rotation together therewith, and cooperating with a spring for moving the pins into a position, in which they are engaged with the anvil. The longitudinally extending passages open into the axial passage of the hammer body. Each pin has a bearing surface engageable with a respective bearing surface of the driving member during movement of the pins into the other position, the bearing surface being located on a portion of each pin protruding into the axial passage of the hammer body.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for determining enzymatic activity in a liquid sample by particle agglutination or inhibition of particle agglutination.
Abstract: A portable drive for coaction with a band is provided with a motor driven drive roller for transporting the drive along the band. The drive roller with coacting structure for maintaining operative coaction with the band are settable to two main positions, viz, an operative and a neutral position, the band in the neutral position running freely while the drive roller with coacting structure being cantilevered so that the band can be freely taken aside for disengagement of the band from the drive, or for inserting the band from the side over the drive roller to coact therewith after resetting to the operative position. The inventive drive is primarily intended to be attachable to a skier allowing him to be towed up a hill along a band which is anchored at its upper end to a tree, for example.
Abstract: A method is disclosed for determining enzymatic activity in a liquid sample by particle agglutination or inhibition of particle agglutination.
Abstract: A solvent-based thermosetting coating composition comprising a hydroxy functional epoxy-polyester graft copolymer and blocked polyisocyanate crosslinking agent. The coating composition may be formulated as hot sprayable, high solids coating composition suitable for use as chip resistant automotive vehicle primer suitable for use on body panel areas subject to chipping by stones, gravel and other road debris. Alternatively, the composition may be formulated as a high solids composition sprayable with conventional spraying equipment. The hydroxy functional epoxy-polyester graft copolymer is the product of polymerization of lactone monomers in the presence of hydroxy functional epoxy ester resin precursor. The precursor resin is the reaction product of diepoxide chain extended with diphenol and chain terminated with acid component comprising primary hydroxy functional acid. The polymerization of the lactone monomers is carried out at a temperature between about 50.degree. C. and about 300.degree. C.

Abstract: An improved coupling assembly enabling a bucket to be selectively coupled to and uncoupled from a front-end loader with lifting and tilting means. A female coupling structure is integral with the bucket. A back plate of the female coupling structure bears against a front plate of a male coupling structure with no gap between such plates. An upper flange on the front plate bears upwardly against an upper flange on the back plate. Means are provided to latch the male coupling structure releasably to the female coupling structure. Vertical play between the male coupling structure and the female coupling structure is limited precisely to a specified gap between and adjustable member on the male coupling structure and a fixed block on the female coupling structure.

Abstract: Hydroxy functional polyester graft copolymers are provided. The copolymer is crosslinkable by hydroxy-reactive crosslinking agent and, in particular, is suitable for use in thermosetting coating compositions adapted to form a flexible cured coating over a variety of substrates, such as metal and plastic. The copolymer has a number average molecular weight between about 1300 and about 15,000, has a hydroxyl number between about 30 and about 300, and is the reaction product of carbon-carbon double bond-reactive monoethylenically unsaturated monomer with hydroxy functional carbon-carbon double bond-bearing branched polyester macromer. The macromer is the reaction product of (i) hydroxy functional polyester reactant containing 0-10 urethane linkages per molecule with (ii) silane compound having the general chemical formula: ##STR1## wherein X is an organic group or (--Si--O--).sub.
Abstract: Described are compounds of the formula: ##STR1## wherein Y denotes dimethylamino, methylpropynylamino, pyrrolidino, piperidino, or morpholino; R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently of each other denote hydrogen or loweralkyl; and X denotes loweralkyl, loweralkoxy, or halo; and n is an integer from 1 to 3 inclusive, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The compounds exhibit antiarrhythmic activity without unwanted sympathomimetic effects.
