Abstract: An electronic gaming machine (“EGM”) includes a processor circuit and a memory coupled to the processor circuit. The memory includes machine-readable instructions that, when executed by the processor circuit, cause the EGM to perform operations. The operations include determining a user has earned a comp. The operations further include increasing a progressive award based on the comp. The operations further include outputting an indicator of the progressive award.
Abstract: In response to a winning game result of a video lottery game at a video lottery terminal (VLT) by a first player, a processor circuit determines whether a game award for the winning game result meets a first threshold and whether the winning game result is associated with a player account of the first player. In response to a determination that the game award meets the first threshold and a determination that the winning game result is not associated with a player account, the VLT displays a prompt to the first player to create a player account. Based on input from the first player at the VLT, the player account is created and a redemption ticket for the game award is printed, which is redeemable for the game award only by the first player.

Abstract: In various embodiments, the present disclosure relates generally to gaming systems and methods for providing a secondary game with player selected persistent elements.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to gaming machines, systems, and methods. As an example, a method is disclosed that includes enabling a user to interact with a game of chance via a user interface device of the electronic gaming machine, storing an amount of credit available for the player to play the game of chance in a credit meter, presenting the amount of credit available to the user via the user interface device, providing information from the credit meter to a wireless communication assembly, and transmitting, with the wireless communication assembly, the information from the credit meter to a game management system.

Abstract: Devices, systems and methods for selectively providing live sporting event video at sports gaming devices may include decrypting a first encrypted video signal is decrypted into a first decrypted video signal that includes a first encoded video stream of a first live sporting event. The first encoded video stream may be decoded into a first decoded video stream that includes a first video of the first live sporting event, which may be displayed by a display device along with first wager information to facilitate a user placing a wager on the first live sporting event. In response to receiving an instruction to display a second video of a second live sporting event, a second encrypted video signal may be decrypted into a second decrypted video signal that includes a second encoded video stream of the second live sporting event. The second encoded video stream may be decoded into a second decoded video stream that includes the second video of the second live sporting event.

Abstract: A cryptographic token associated with a player including a cryptographic hash associated with a blockchain, a player identifier indicative of a player associated with the cryptographic token, and a progress identifier indicative of a present progress value for a wagering game is determined, and a first progress value associated with a first play session of a first wagering game by a player is determined. Based on the first progress value, the progress identifier of the cryptographic token is modified to add the first progress value to the present progress value. Based on the present progress value, a first game benefit to the player is provided.

Abstract: A graphical user interface (GUI) including a plurality of wagering game assets, such as game modules, math models, cosmetic game features, and other assets is provided to a user. Based on first user input received from the user via a GUI, a first virtual wagering game is generated using selected assets. The input may include selection from a plurality of The first virtual wagering game is provided to a plurality of players in a virtual gaming environment. A first revenue amount is received from wagers by the players in the first virtual wagering game. A first portion of the first revenue amount is awarded to the user.

Abstract: An electronic gaming machine (“EGM”) can include a surface-integrated speaker, a processor circuit coupled to the surface-integrated speaker, and a memory coupled to the processor circuit. The memory can include machine-readable instructions that, when executed by the processor circuit, cause the EGM to perform operations. The operations can include determining a position on the EGM from which to output audio. The operations can further include outputting, via a surface-integrated speaker, the audio at the position.

Abstract: A primary wagering game is provided at a gaming device to a first player and a cryptographic token associated with the first player is determined. The cryptographic token includes a player identifier indicative of the player associated with the cryptographic token and a benefit identifier associated with a game benefit being provided to the first player associated with the cryptographic token. Based on the cryptographic token, a secondary game is provided at the gaming device, wherein play of the secondary game does not affect play of the primary wagering game, and wherein play of the secondary game appears to the first player to modify play of the primary wagering game.

Abstract: A processor circuit captures gameplay of a first wagering game by a first player, and generates a gameplay video stream comprising the gameplay of the first wagering game. The gameplay video stream is associated with a first cryptographic token that includes identifier indicative of the first cryptographic token being part of a plurality of cryptographic tokens and a player identifier indicative of the player associated with the first cryptographic token. The processor circuit transmits the gameplay video stream to a network device for provision to a plurality of viewers.

Abstract: A plurality of cryptographic tokens are determined, each including a common identifier indicative of the cryptographic token being part of the plurality of cryptographic tokens, and a player identifier indicative of a player associated with the cryptographic token. It is determined whether a first player associated with a first cryptographic token of the plurality of cryptographic tokens is in a first active play session of a first wagering game at a first gaming device, and whether a second player associated with a second cryptographic token of the plurality of cryptographic tokens is in a second active play session of a second wagering game at a second gaming device. Based on a determination that the first player is in the first active play session and that the second player is in the second active play session, a first game benefit is provided to the first player in the first active play session.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to gaming machines, retrofit card readers for gaming machines, and methods of operating gaming machines and retrofit card readers. As an example, a method is disclosed that includes receiving an indication that a wireless communication module has wirelessly communicated with a player credential, synthesizing a state change that emulates a physical card insertion event in response to receiving the indication that the wireless communication module has wirelessly communicated with the player credential, and communicating the synthesized state change to a Slot Machine Interface Board (SMIB). The synthesized state change may be communicated with a set of electrical signals that include a card detection state and data read from the player credential.
