Abstract: An electrical adjusting device for changing an angle of rotation of a camshaft (3) relative to a crankshaft of an internal-combustion engine is provided. The device includes an adjusting gear unit (1), which is formed as a triple-shaft gear unit, including an input part (4) that is fixed to the crankshaft, an output part (5) that is fixed to the camshaft, and an adjusting shaft (6), which is connected in a torsion-proof manner to an electric adjusting motor (2) having a permanent magnet rotor and a stator (8) fixed to the housing. A stationary gear ratio (i0), the value of which defines the adjusting gear unit (1) as a positive or negative gear unit and deter-mines whether a direction of adjustment of the camshaft (3, 65, 69) is into an advanced or retarded base position, is located between the input part (4) and the output part (5) when the adjusting shaft is at rest.

Abstract: A power transmission drive (1) is provided, in which sensors (11a, 11b) detect an oscillating angle deviation between a driven member (3) and a drive member (4b), and signal the deviation to a controller (14). If a limit value is exceeded, the controller (14) initiates an emergency operation of the internal combustion engine.
Abstract: The invention concerns a mounting and anti-rotation device (mounting aid) (1) for roller tappets of a valve train of an internal combustion engine in which gas exchange valves are activated by roller tappets. The roller tappets comprising a substantially cylindrical tappet body are retained in receptions (7, 8) of the mounting aid (1) that is made of plastic. With the help of opposing parallel anti-rotation surfaces that are arranged symmetrically to the longitudinal axis of the roller tappet and are disposed on the end of the tappet body that is oriented away from a roller, the roller tappets are guided secured against rotation in the mounting aid during the operation of the internal combustion engine. This is achieved by the fact that the inner profile of the receptions (7, 8) is matched to the outer profile of the roller tappets.

Abstract: A gearshift device for a multiple-gear change box of a vehicle includes at least two gearshift rods with a rectangular cross-section. A roller bearing and a locking device are provided for guiding and locking the gearshift rods, with each gearshift rod having its own locking element.
Abstract: A rail used as a torsional stop for the valve train of an internal combustion engine is disclosed. The rail includes spaces (10) which are arranged in a row spaced apart at a distance from one another within the rail (8) and accommodate inserted valve lifters provided as roller tappets (9). Two parallel torsional stop areas (15) are configured on the outer surface of each roller tappet (9) in the form of planar flattened zones in order to secure the roller tappet (9) against rotation about the central longitudinal axis thereof. The torsional stop areas (15) rest against guide areas of the rail (8), which are located inside the associated accommodating space (10).
Abstract: A clutch release arrangement (1) for a clutch release (pressure plate) (6) used in vehicles is provided. The clutch release arrangement (1) includes a control lever (2), which forms one unit together with a housing (3) and also a clutch release bearing (4). The housing (3) is supported directly on the control lever (2) by contact surfaces (8a, 8b or 18a, 18b) of different lengths, which allow height compensation “s” at assembly.

Abstract: A hydraulically actuated, preferably variable, valve drive of an internal-combustion engine is provided, with a slave unit (15), which is embodied as a separate component relative to a master unit. A special characteristic is that the slave unit is provided with a hydraulic backlash compensation element (9), which is connected to a path (12) for feeding hydraulic medium only outside of a stroke phase of a slave piston (5). As a result, on one hand an easy-to-produce valve drive with slave unit (15) is provided. On the other hand, unnecessary “pumping up” of the backlash compensation element (9) during the stroke phases of the slave piston (5) is prevented by the previously mentioned admission of hydraulic medium.
Abstract: Valve train with hydraulic lash adjustment in the entire timing train, in which oil is delivered from the oil supply space of the hydraulic valve-lash adjuster (HLA) to the valve rocker arm via a hollow push rod, a choke limiting the oil discharge, the choke being designed in such a way that it seals off the push rod bore at the top when the oil pressure drops, that is to say when the engine is shut off, so that the oil is retained in the push rod bore (12) until—after the engine is started—the choke body (15, 22) opens up the discharge opening again.

Here, a run-off safety device (27) at least partially prevents a hydraulic medium flow from the hydraulic medium reservoir (29) in the direction of the hydraulic medium supply (23). The hydraulic medium reservoir (29) includes an inner storage space (15) enclosed by the compensation piston (13) and at least one outer storage space (52) located outside the compensation piston (13).

Abstract: A device for supporting and for at least contributing to the activation of an actuating element. An outer thin-walled bearing ring defines a pressure space to which pressure is applied. The outer thin-walled bearing ring at least partially bounds a circumference of the pressure space. A piston supports the actuating element and moves longitudinally within the pressure space with respect to the outer thin-walled bearing ring. Roller bodies configured to roll on the outer thin-walled bearing ring for supporting the actuating element.
Abstract: A lip-type shaft seal is made of elastic material with a Shore A hardness of ?75, includes a radial sealing lip, which has a sealing edge to bear against a rotating component and terminates in a axial sealing lip, which has a sealing edge to rests in installed state against a contact surface. The axial sealing lip extends at an angle of ?35° in relation to a symmetry axis of the shaft seal, when the axial sealing lip has not been installed yet and is under no tension, and extends from the sealing edge of the radial sealing lip at a length of ?1.4 mm. When the shaft seal is installed, the axial sealing lip rests against the contact surface at an axial overlap of 0.05 to 0.55 mm.
