Abstract: Direct conversion of syngas produces liquid fuels and light olefins. The catalytic reaction is conducted on a fixed bed or a moving bed. The catalyst comprises A and B components. The component A is composed of active metal oxides, and the active ingredients of the component B are zeolites with a MEL structure. The distance between the geometric centers of catalyst A and catalyst B particles is 2 nm-10 mm; a weight ratio of the catalyst A to the catalyst B is 0.1-20. The pressure of the syngas is 0.1-10 MPa; reaction temperature is 300-600° C.; and space velocity is 300-10000 h?1. The reaction mainly produces gasoline with high octane number, and co-generates light olefins. Meanwhile, the selectivity for a methane byproduct is low (less than 10%).

Abstract: A computing device receives, from a thread of a multi-thread application, a release message. Each of the threads indicates operation(s) on a memory associated with the application. The release message indicates that a data object used by the thread is released. The device indicates that a memory slot of a data pool is unlocked permitting storage of an indication of a location of the data object in the memory. Each memory slot of the data pool is individually lockable such that a locked memory slot of the data pool indicates storing a location in the locked memory slot will not be permitted even though storing the location in an unlocked memory slot of the data pool will be permitted. The device stores, in the memory slot of the data pool, an indication of a location of the data object. The data object comprises the location of the memory slot.

Abstract: A membrane device includes a trench substrate having trenches and a membrane having wrinkles. The membrane is not bonded to the trenches of the trench substrate but is bonded to the surface of the trench substrate in the shoulders of the trenches. Hills and valleys are alternately arranged in the membrane along the trenches. The membrane device can be used in various applications (for example, sensors) based on variations in the electrical properties of the membrane caused by a change in the shape of the wrinkles (a change in the strain) of the membrane in response to a change in the internal or external environment of the trenches.

Abstract: Methods and systems of power generation that integrate SCO2 Brayton and Rankin steam power cycles with fossil fuel combustion, One such method involves combusting a fuel material with an oxidizer material in a combustor to produce heat and a combustion exhaust. At least a portion of the combustion exhaust and a first portion of heat produced by the combustion processing are fed to a SCO2 Brayton power cycle to produce power and a second exhaust. At least a portion of the second exhaust and a second portion of heat produced by the combustion processing are feed to a steam Rankine power cycle to produce additional power and a third exhaust.
Abstract: This present disclosure provides methods and systems for measuring the concentration of multiple nucleic acid sequences in a sample. The nucleic acid sequences in the sample are simultaneously amplified, for example, using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) in the presence of an array of nucleic acid probes. The amount of amplicon corresponding to the multiple nucleic acid sequences can be measured in real-time during or after each cycle using a real-time microarray. The measured amount of amplicon produced can be used to determine the original amount of the nucleic acid sequences in the sample. Also provided herein are biosensor arrays, systems and methods for affinity based assays that are able to simultaneously obtain high quality measurements of the binding characteristics of multiple analytes, and that are able to determine the amounts of those analytes in solution. The present disclosure also provides a fully integrated bioarray for detecting real-time characteristics of affinity based assays.

Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods of the present disclosure are directed to accurate and non-invasive assessments of anatomic vessels (e.g., the internal jugular vein (IJV)) of vertebrates. For example, a piezoelectric crystal may generate a signal and receive a pulse echo of the signal along an axis extending through the piezoelectric crystal and an anatomic vessel. A force sensor disposed relative to the piezoelectric crystal may measure a force exerted (e.g., along skin of the vertebrate) on the anatomic vessel along the axis. The pulse echo received by the piezoelectric crystal and the force measured by the force sensor may, in combination, non-invasively and accurately determine a force response of the anatomic vessel. In turn, the force response may be probative of any one or more of a variety of different characteristics of the anatomic vessel including, for example, location of the anatomic vessel and pressure of the anatomic vessel.
