Abstract: An extracellular vesicle separation method, a colloidal particle, and a preparation method thereof are provided. The colloidal particle is used for extracellular vesicle separation, and includes 2 wt % to 6 wt % of agarose. The colloidal particle has a particle size of 25 ?m to 500 ?m, and is surface-modified with biocompatible molecules. The biocompatible molecules include sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), methyl cellulose (MC), glycine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid, bovine serum albumin (BSA), fetal bovine serum (FBS), or a combination thereof.

Abstract: A piezoelectric system comprises a piezoelectric sensor, a voltage stabilizer, a discharger and an operation sensor. The piezoelectric sensor outputs a sensing signal through a sensor output terminal according to a rate of change of pressure. The voltage stabilizer has a positive terminal electrically connecting with the sensor output terminal. The voltage stabilizer receives the sensing signal, stores the energy of the sensing signal, and keeps the voltage of the sensing signal as a constant when the rate of change of pressure is zero. The discharger has a first terminal connecting with the positive terminal, a second terminal coupled to ground, and a control terminal receiving a trigger signal to control the first terminal to conduct with or not conduct with the second terminal. The operation sensor electrically connects to the control terminal for sensing an operation generating the pressure and outputs the trigger signal accordingly.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a voltage-to-time converter and method for reducing parasitic capacitance and power supply influences. The voltage-to-time converter includes: a main sampling network, a compensation sampling network, a discharge network and an over-threshold detection unit. The influence of a traditional VTC parasitic capacitance on a VTC output swing amplitude is reduced by using the compensation sampling network. A sampling common-mode level of the compensation sampling network is compensated, such that the influence of the low-frequency disturbance of a power supply voltage on a threshold of a traditional VTC threshold detection circuit is reduced. The output swing amplitude of the voltage-to-time converter of the present disclosure can reduce the influence of a parasitic capacitance. A voltage common-mode level of a VTC input end is related to a power supply voltage, which reduces a conversion error caused by the influence of the power supply voltage on a threshold.

Since the pyrochlore phase may be transformed into the garnet phase through a lithiation process and the phase transition temperature is lower (e.g., 500-1000° C.), the precursor structure may be co-fired with the cathode material (e.g., lithium cobalt oxide (LiCoO2)) to form a thin lamination structure. That is, the thickness of the solid electrolyte may be effectively reduced, thereby improving the ionic conductivity of the solid electrolyte ion battery.

Abstract: A process for forming extruded products using a device having a scroll face configured to apply a rotational shearing force and an axial extrusion force to the same preselected location on material wherein a combination of the rotational shearing force and the axial extrusion force upon the same location cause a portion of the material to plasticize, flow and recombine in desired configurations. This process provides for a significant number of advantages and industrial applications, including but not limited to extruding tubes used for vehicle components with 50 to 100 percent greater ductility and energy absorption over conventional extrusion technologies, while dramatically reducing manufacturing costs.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to a new genetic perturbation and screening method that combines advantages of pooled perturbation with imaging assays for complex phenotypes. Specifically, the method may be used to screen pooled genomic perturbations to identify phenotypes and to identify perturbed genes at the single-cell level using optical barcodes. A major advantage offered by this approach is the ability to screen for any cellular phenotype that can be identified by high-resolution microscopy—including live-cell phenotypes, protein localization, or highly multiplexed expression profile and mRNA localization by RNA-FISH—in conjunction with a large array of genetic perturbations applied as a pool in a single test volume.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method of simultaneously acquiring vertical profiles of multiple atmospheric parameters. Measuring devices based on multiple principles and capable of measuring multiple parameters simultaneously are fixed on a cable of an aerostat at specified distance decided by measurement task, each measuring device finishes measuring the atmospheric parameters at its altitude thereof, and transmits data to a ground data acquisition and processing device in real time, so as to synchronously acquire the real-time measured profiles of multiple atmospheric parameters. The profile data does not have any assumption, and standard data can be provided to a ground remote sensing device like radar for measuring at the same place while regular meteorological parameters and atmospheric contamination data are provided to atmospheric and environmental governance departments.

As the organic polymerization catalyst, 4-dimethylaminopyridine and 4-dimethylaminopyridinium triflate are preferred.

Abstract: Systems and methods for using quantitative ultrasound (“QUS”) techniques to generate imaging biomarkers that can be used to assess a prediction of tumor response to different chemotherapy treatment regimens are provided. For instance, the imaging biomarkers can be used to subtype tumors that have resistance to certain chemotherapy regimens prior to drug exposure. These imaging biomarkers can therefore be useful for predicting tumor response and for assessing the prognostic value of particular treatment regimens.
