  • Patent number: 9454247
Abstract: An operating method for an interactive writing device is provided. The operating method includes following steps. A visible light image is captured in response to an original outputted image. A tag searching region is established in the visible light image in response to a writing operation performed by a writing object having a color tag pattern. The original outputted image corresponding to the tag searching region is filtered from the visible light image in the tag searching region to generate a local processed image. A color tag corresponding to the color tag pattern of the writing object is searched from the local processed image. A color value corresponding to the color tag is generated.

  • Patent number: 9455791
Abstract: A method and apparatus provide simultaneous bi-directional communications through a barrier using a pair of piezoelectric transducers. Outside-to-inside transmission of differentially encoded binary data is only sampled at the inside when a known repeated bit in a Barker sequence is transmitted in the other direction. Differentially encoded data is translated based on the absolute value of differences between each signal envelope sample and the previous signal envelope sample. Inside-to-outside data is transmitted by varying an electrical load on the inside transducer to vary the proportion of a continuous wave signal it reflects. The reflected portion of the continuous wave changes the electrical impedance of the outside transducer and this change is measured and interpreted as binary data. Two frequency selection algorithms select minimally sufficient and then optimal frequencies for power and data transmission by a frequency stepping process.

  • Patent number: 9455735
Abstract: A high-speed sampling front-end circuit is presented that includes a MDAC sampling network, a reference voltage generator circuit, a comparator array, an operational amplifier, an output short-circuit switch, an adjustable clock duty cycle stabilizer, a status control module and a feedback control module. The circuit features low power, high sampling rate and high input bandwidth of sampling network. The time constant of the MDAC sampling network and the comparator array is precisely matched one another to improve input bandwidth of the sampling network. Sampling capacitors are designed as feedback capacitors and DAC calculation capacitors, thereby the operational amplifier doubles feedback coefficient and features 50% bandwidth and 50% power. The cycle stabilizer is adopted to shorten sampling time and extend amplification phase to greatly improve sampling rate. One input reference voltage tends to simplify the design of the reference voltage generator circuit.
