    Abstract: A dual frequency coupling feed antenna includes a substrate. There are an upper dipole radiative conductor, a lower dipole radiative conductor, a ground line and a ground reflective conductor disposed on the second surface of the substrate and the two dipole radiative conductors are not electrically connected to each other. The first surface of the substrate has a coupling conductor, a signal line and a feed-matching conductor. The coupling conductor extends parallel to the upper dipole radiative conductor. The ground reflective conductor is located at a side-edge of the dipole radiative conductor and the feed-matching conductor is located on the path of the signal line.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a distributed feedback laser array includes: forming a bottom separate confinement layer on a substrate; forming a quantum-well layer on the bottom separate confinement layer; forming a selective-area epitaxial dielectric mask pattern on the quantum-well layer; forming a top separate confinement layer on the quantum-well layer through selective-area epitaxial growth using the selective-area epitaxial dielectric mask pattern, the top separate confinement layer having different thicknesses for different laser units; removing the selective-area epitaxial dielectric mask pattern; forming an optical grating on the top separate confinement layer; and growing a contact layer on the optical grating. The present disclosure achieves different emission wavelengths for different laser units without significantly affect emission performance of the quantum-well material.

With the above composition, the electrical conductivity and the light transmittance are suitable for use of the transparent electric conductor in various applications, in particular as a transparent electrode of an electronic device.

    Abstract: A major risk factor for ischemic heart disease is advanced age. In adult bone marrow and other tissues, the number and function of stem cells decline with aging. Telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) is a nuclear protein that decreases senescence. Myocardin (MYOCD) is a transcription factor for myogenesis. Thus a method is provided for the simultaneous delivery of the telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) and myocardin MYOCD genes that resuscitates mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) from aged adipose and bone marrow tissues by increasing their capacity for survival, proliferation, and differentiation. TERT+/MYOCD+ MSCs restores a capacity for repairing ischemic tissues via improved blood flow and revascularization.

    Abstract: A novel synthesis method of Glyco-drug radiotracer precursor is revealed. After completing synthesis of Z-Gly-ah (main structure), galactosamine GalNAc(OAc)4 is added to have coupling reaction. Then a product is separated directly from dichloromethane. Thus loss of galactosamine during extraction with liquid chromatography is reduced. Moreover, instead of trifluoroacetyl group, carbobenzoxy (abbreviated as Cbz or Z) is used as a protecting group to ensure uniformity of the phase. The cost and synthesis time are also dramatically reduced.
