Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure propose multiple codebook searching methods for a receiver in a communication system, wherein the communication system uses a codebook having L pre-coding matrices. First, L matrices are calculated according to the L pre-coding matrices, and the L matrices are inversed mean square error matrices of the L pre-encoding matrices. Then, diagonal cofactors or determinants of at least S matrices of the L matrices are calculated, and a pre-coding matrix used by the receiver is found according to the maximum cofactors of the diagonal of the at least S matrices or ratios between the maximum cofactors of the diagonals and the determinants of the at least S matrices.

Abstract: Methods for reading a memory cell are provided. The method for reading a memory cell includes applying a first read pulse to a memory cell, heating the memory cell to a first temperature and obtaining a first read data. The first read data is converted to a first digital data. The first digital data is stored in a shift register. A second read pulse is applied to the memory cell, heating the memory cell to a second temperature and obtaining a second read data. The second read data is converted to a second digital data. The second digital data is stored in the shift register. A ratio of the first digital data and the second digital data is calculated, obtaining a quotient. The quotient is converted to an analog value. A log amplifier circuit takes the log of the analog value, representing an activation energy state.

Abstract: (The present invention relates to a catalyst used in the production of light olefin through catalytic cracking of naphtha in a severe condition of high temperatures and high humidity. More particularly, this invention relates to a catalyst for catalytic cracking of hydrocarbon, which is used in production of light olefin and a production method thereof, wherein the catalyst is prepared by spray-drying and firing slurry mixed so that 0.01-5.0 wt % of MnO: and 1-15 wt % of P2O5 are simultaneously supported on zeolite, clay and inorganic oxides. The disclosed catalyst not only improves hydrothermal stability of a spherical catalyst which is obtained by modifying zeolite and inorganic oxides with manganese and phosphorus simultaneously, but also protects acid sites of the zeolite. Thus, the light olefin can be obtained at a high yield in catalytic cracking of hydrocarbon of C4 or more such as naphtha.

Abstract: A language-neutral method for searching online handwritten notes is provided. The different algorithms contained in this method enable querying online multilingual handwritten documents with substrings of words rather than just whole words. More particularly, two approaches are presented—one based on partial Fréchet distance calculations and the other based on a pair hidden Markov models. The partial Fréchet distance is adapted from the traditional Fréchet distance concept to match a subcurve or prefix of a query word. The pair hidden Markov model used in the present application is adapted from pair hidden Markov models used in bioinformatics as generative models of local and global alignment of biological sequences.
