Abstract: An efficient adaptive seismic data flow lossless compression and decompression method, which aims at solving the problem that data occupies the storage space and affects the transmission efficiency and is used for efficiently compressing geophysical instrument data, particularly seismic data after 24-bit analog-to-digital conversion. In the method, a data flow is compressed in a lossless mode in real time, and sampling data is adaptively compressed into 1 byte or 2 bytes or 3 bytes from original 24 bits and 3 bytes in a coding manner. Besides the foregoing data ranges, other integers that can be expressed by other 24-bit integer data with symbols are required to be expressed by 4 bytes after being operated through a compression algorithm. The method has the advantages of saving a large amount of storage space and remarkably increasing the data transmission efficiency.

Abstract: Provided is a state determination apparatus that appropriately performs pattern classification processing and/or pattern determination processing even when a map generated by the SOM technique includes discontinuous image regions. In the state determination apparatus, the matching processing unit obtains adaptability data indicating a correlation degree between template data indicating a state and the SOM output data. The state determination unit obtains a state evaluation value based on an activity value obtained by the activity value obtaining unit and the adaptability value. The time series estimation unit determines a state of an input data based on the state evaluation value and state transition probability between states. This allows for appropriately performing pattern classification processing and/or pattern determination processing even when a map generated by the SOM technique includes discontinuous image regions.

Abstract: The invention provides a method for overcoming the influence of out-flowing current on bus differential protection. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring and processing branch current signals; selecting a fault bus, and determining the branch current with maximum amplitude from branches connected with the fault bus; calculating differential current and restraint current of a large differential element, and determining whether the large differential element acts. The method for overcoming the influence of out-flowing current on bus differential protection does not need to reduce the braking coefficient during splitting operation in a two-bus connecting mode, can adaptively improve the sensitivity of bus differential protection under an internal fault in the presence of out-flowing current, and simultaneously ensures the reliability under an external fault.
