Abstract: Disclosed are methods for the manufacture of n-type and p-type filled skutterudite thermoelectric legs of an electrical contact. A first material of CoSi2 and a dopant are ball-milled to form a first powder which is thermo-mechanically processed with a second powder of n-type skutterudite to form a n-type skutterudite layer disposed between a first layer and a third layer of the doped-CoSi2. In addition, a plurality of components such as iron, and nickel, and at least one of cobalt or chromium are ball-milled form a first powder that is thermo-mechanically processed with a p-type skutterudite layer to form a p-type skutterudite layer “second layer” disposed between a first and a third layer of the first powder. The specific contact resistance between the first layer and the skutterudite layer for both the n-type and the p-type skutterudites subsequent to hot-pressing is less than about 10.0 ??·cm2 .

Abstract: A method for making a sulfur based cathode composite material is disclosed. Polyacrylonitrile and elemental sulfur are dissolved together in a first solvent to form a first solution. An electrically conductive carbonaceous material is added to the first solution to mix with the polyacrylonitrile and the elemental sulfur. An environment in which the polyacrylonitrile and the elemental sulfur are located in is changed to reduce a solubility of the polyacrylonitrile and the elemental sulfur in a changed environment to simultaneously precipitate the polyacrylonitrile and the elemental sulfur, thereby forming a precipitate having the electrically conductive carbonaceous material. The precipitate is heated to chemically react the polyacrylonitrile with the elemental sulfur. A sulfur based cathode composite material is also disclosed.

Abstract: Disclosed are a 2-aminopyrimidine compound and pharmaceutical composition and use thereof. The structure of the 2-aminopyrimidine compound is as represented by formula I, in the formula, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, X, Y, Z, W, (i) being as defined in the specification and the claims. Such compounds effectively inhibit the growth of a variety of tumor cells and have inhibitory effects on EGFR and IGF1R protease, and can be used for preparing antineoplastic drugs and overcome the tolerance induced by the existing drugs such as gefitinib, erlotinib and the like. The compound has selectivity for tumors, in particular the wild-type non-small cell lung cancer and have good pharmacokinetic characteristics.

Abstract: Communication between a wireless base-station and a microwave reflector link are enhanced by feeding back a portion of the transmitter signal, adjusted for phase and amplitude, to cancel ambient reflection blocker signals being received at the base-station. The microwave reflector link does not utilize a transmitter gain stage, but communicates data back to the base-station in response to modulating the reflections of its antenna (e.g., in gain and/or phase). The disclosure aids in the proper amplification and processing of reflection signals from the microwave reflector link, by canceling out the blocking signals which arise as background objects reflect transmitter signal energy back to the base-station.

The microprocessor receives data signals from the sensors and converts the signals into gas composition and concentration data and temperature and pressure data for transmission to an external computing device.
