  • Publication number: 20170137561
Abstract: A composition capable of forming a heat-dissipation member having high thermal conductivity, and a heat-dissipation member. The composition for the heat-dissipation member of the present application contains a polymerizable liquid crystal compound having, at both terminals, a structure including an oxiranyl group or an oxetanyl group; a curing agent that cures the polymerizable liquid crystal compound; and an inorganic filler formed of nitride. A curing temperature of the composition for the heat-dissipation member is within or higher than the temperature range in which the polymerizable liquid crystal compound exhibits a liquid crystal phase, and within or lower than the temperature range in which the polymerizable liquid crystal compound exhibits an isotropic phase. The heat-dissipation member formed of such a composition can have excellent thermal conductivity owing to a synergistic effect between alignment of the liquid crystal compound and the inorganic filler formed of nitride.

  • Patent number: 9650693
Abstract: A method for recovering lead from lead-containing discarded electronic waste cathode ray tube glass includes the steps of taking a sample of cathode ray tube lead-containing funnel glass, crushing to obtain CRT glass powder, then uniformly mixing zero-valent iron powder with the CRT glass powder according to the mass ratio of 0.1-1.5:1, performing heat preservation at a temperature of 610-960° C. for 3-180 min, and further cooling to extract the metallic lead from a SiO2 reticular glass structure of the CRT glass. This can be applied to pretreatment of the lead-containing waste CRT glass, and the metallic lead is extracted from the reticular silicate structure of the lead-containing waste CRT glass by adding the zero-valent iron in the thermal treatment process so that disposal rate of electronic wastes is improved and ecological safety is ensured. • Patent number: 9651466
Abstract: An edge sharpness measurement apparatus includes a clamp for securing a test medium against a frictional member, and an engagement mechanism for a normal force, such that the normal force directs the test medium against the frictional member with a force based on operational conditions of the test medium. A further engagement mechanism is for a tangential force, in which the engagement mechanism is adapted to increase the tangential force to identify a tangential force sufficient to dispose the frictional member across the test medium. A pivot defines an angle of application of the tangential force relative to the normal force, such that disposing the frictional member across the test medium defines a point of overcoming frictional forces between the test medium and the frictional member. A measurement device, such as a gauge or range on a spring, measures the tangential force sufficient to dispose the frictional member.

  • Patent number: 9649279
Abstract: Salt formulations, which are resistant to moisture and cooking conditions, are described herein. The formulations provide particles of micronutrients and vitamins encapsulated within heat resistant pH-sensitive water-insoluble polymers, which are packaged within a salt shell. The pH-sensitive, water-insoluble, thermally stable materials stabilize the micronutrients, particularly at high temperatures, such as during food preparation and cooking, and release the micronutrients at the desired locations such as the stomach, small intestine, etc. Preferred pH-sensitive polymers release at a low pH, less than the pH present in the stomach. The particles can be used to deliver daily-recommended doses of micronutrients simultaneously with salt, eliminating the need for vitamin pills. This is particularly important in populations suffering from severe malnutrition.

  • Patent number: 9649618
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preparing a solid amine gas adsorption material. The method synthesizes a porous solid amine gas adsorption material that loads organic amine evenly. In the method, a certain amount of acidic gas is introduced while organic amine molecules are introduced into a silicate solution as template agents, which not only makes sizes of SiO2 pore channels homogeneous, but also makes organic amine molecules highly evenly distributed on a surface of SiO2. In addition, the acidic gas protects —NH2 groups of organic amine, and avoids —NH2 adhesion inactivation due to hydrogen bonding during the synthesis process of the material. The present invention also relates to a method for preparing a solid amine gas adsorption material after obtaining a silicate solution from fly ash. The solid amine gas adsorption material prepared has more stable and effective gas adsorption performance.
