    Abstract: An electronic apparatus and a method for incremental pose estimation and photographing are provided. In the method, at least two images of a 3D object are captured at different positions encircling the 3D object. Displacements and angular displacements are detected when capturing the images. Features of the 3D object in the images, the displacements and the angular displacements are used to estimate a central position of the 3D object and a distance between the electronic apparatus and the 3D object. A circumference suitable for capturing the images of the 3D object is estimated based on the distance and is divided into several segments, and a timing interval of a timer is adjusted based on a length of the segments. A camera of the electronic apparatus is triggered at intervals set by the timer to capture the images of the 3D object.

The optical waveguide directs the primary light beam from the light source, through the housing interior and toward a luminescent material of the light converter. The luminescent material emits secondary light of one or more wavelengths different from the primary wavelength in response to excitation by the primary light beam. The light source may be mounted outside the housing interior so as not to obstruct light propagation.

The optical detector includes a substrate, a gate metal layer, a gate medium layer, a graphene layer, a source and drain metal layer successively arranged from bottom to top, wherein a local region of at least the source and drain metal layer has a periodic micro/nanostructure, the periodic micro/nanostructure being matched with the gate metal layer and the gate medium layer to form a metamaterial structure having a complete absorption characteristic. By changing the refractive index, thickness or the like of material for the periodic micro/nanostructure and the gate medium layer, a light absorption frequency band of the metamaterial structure can be regulated. The optical detector provided by the present invention has higher flexibility and narrow-band response, and can work under visible light to infrared even longer wavebands by selecting different metamaterial structures.

The mixture can be heated in a vacuum to a temperature that is greater than or equal to the melting point of the third solid. When the third solid is substantially molten liquid, the mixture is compressed into a desired cathode shape and then cooled to solidify the mixture in the desired cathode shape.

    Abstract: The present invention is directed to methods of forming olefins, especially linear alpha olefins from fatty acids or anhydrides, each method comprising: contacting an amount of precursor carboxylic acid anhydride with a palladium catalyst comprising a bidentate bis-phosphine ligand in a reaction mixture so as to form an olefin in a product with the concomittant formation and removal of CO and water from the reaction mixture, either directly or indirectly, wherein the reaction mixture is maintained with a sub-stoichiometric excess of a sacrificial carboxylic acid anhydride, an organic acid, or both, said sub-stoichiometric excess being relative to the amount of the precursor carboxylic acid anhydride. The precursor carboxylic acid anhydride may be added to the reaction mixture directly or formed in situ by the reaction between at least one precursor carboxylic acid with a stoichiometric amount of the sacrificial acid anhydride.
