Abstract: A network intrusion detection apparatus and method that perform Perl Compatible Regular Expressions (PCRE)-based pattern matching on the payloads of packets using a network processor equipped with a Deterministic Finite Automata (DFA) engine. The network intrusion detection apparatus includes a network processor core for receiving packets from a network, and transmitting payloads of the received packets to a Deterministic Finite Automata (DFA) engine. A detection rule converter converts a PCRE-based detection rule, preset to detect an attack packet, into a detection rule including a pattern to which only PCRE grammar corresponding to the DFA engine is applied. The DFA engine performs PCRE pattern matching on the payloads of the packets based on the detection rule converted by the detection rule converter.

Abstract: A security management apparatus and method for a web server/web application server is provided. The security management apparatus includes a connection state table storage unit for, as a web client accesses a web server/web application server, storing connection state information, an access time, and a connection policy. A connection state information inspection unit inspects whether current connection state information is present in connection state information of the connection state table storage unit in which the connection policy is set to blocking. If current connection state information is not present, a web session reuse attack determination unit determines whether a current connection is a web session reuse attack. If the current connection is not the web session reuse attack, an attack pattern analysis unit analyzes whether an attack pattern is present. A blocking unit blocks a connection between the web client and the web server/web application server.

Abstract: A method of proportional highlighting of data is provided. A graph presented on a display includes a first axis, a second axis, and a first value marker that indicates a value determined from data selected for presentation. The first axis includes a minimum value and a maximum value. The second axis includes a plurality of category values. An indicator identifying a subset of the data is received. A proportional value is determined for the first value marker based on the received indicator. A second value marker indicating the proportional value is presented on the graph overlaid on the first value marker when the determined proportional value is between the minimum value and the maximum value. A scale adjustment marker is presented on the graph without adjusting the first axis when the determined proportional value is not between the minimum value and the maximum value.

Abstract: This disclosure proposes a method to achieve D2D (device to device) communication in LTE system. Traditional communication in LTE systems is based on eNB. UEs (User Equipment) need to connect to eNB to send uplink and downlink transmission. Device to device communication is different from the traditional LTE scheme. UEs may directly connect to other UEs, sending data to each other. The disclosure provides the signaling process, based on LTE network entry procedure, to establish D2D communication in LTE system. D2D UEs send Msg1 to another D2D UE, and the recipient respond with Msg2. After the negotiation between D2D UEs, Msg3 and Msg4 are exchanged between UEs and eNB. Several embodiments are provided for the signaling of Msg3 and Msg4. The D2D data transmission may be enabled after the Msg4 or explicit data session initialization.

Abstract: A method for simultaneously transmitting packets having different lengths to two or more users in a wireless communication system includes: generating the packets to transmit to the respective users, the packets containing information on the maximum transmission length of the packets having different lengths; and simultaneously transmitting the generated packets to the respective users. The maximum transmission length is represented by the number of symbols, and each of the packets sequentially contains control information required for transmitting the packet, data, a tail field, and a PHY pad field, and is generated by inserting a MAC pad between the control information and the data such that the tail field and the PHY pad field are positioned at the last byte of the last symbol of the maximum transmission length.

Abstract: The present invention is related to method and device for building Wi-Fi radio map. Especially, it is related to device and method for building Wi-Fi radio map that is used to position locating service that utilizes Wi-Fi fingerprints that many, unspecified mobile terminals collect and provide. Specifically, the present invention provides, as methods for estimating position data for AP (200) using Wi-Fi fingerprints collected by mobile terminals (100), 1) method for estimating position data for AP (200) by linking Wi-Fi fingerprints and time data for collecting Wi-Fi signal, or 2) method for estimating position data for AP (200) through user address data comparison between Wi-Fi fingerprints without linking signal collection time data to Wi-Fi fingerprints. Accordingly, it has effects of epoch-making economic feasibility compared to prior art that requires huge cost in collecting Wi-Fi fingerprint like war driving.
