Abstract: A demand response determination apparatus and a demand response determination method thereof are provided. The demand response determination apparatus connects to an electric power system via a network. The demand response determination apparatus receives power consumption information from the electric power system and decides a power consumption mode of the electric power system according to the power consumption information. Abstract: Fuel cells and, more particularly, the H2—Cl2 proton exchange membrane fuels cells are described. In some embodiments the fuel cells include a flow through electrolyte assembly that is configured to allow the introduction of a first (relatively dilute) electrolyte into the cell, and the remove of a second (relatively concentrated) electrolyte from the cell. Abstract: An aflatoxin M1 nanobody, an immunosorbent and an immunoaffinity column. The aflatoxin M1 nanobody 2014AFM-G2 has the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:7, is encoded by the nucleic acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:8, has a 50% inhibiting concentration IC50 to aflatoxin M1 of 0.208 ng/mL, and has cross reaction rates with aflatoxins B1, B2, G1, and G2 of 9.43%, 5.93%, 4.87% and 6.17%, respectively. The immunosorbent includes a solid phase carrier and aflatoxin M1 nanobody 2014AFM-G2 coupled with the solid phase carrier. The immunoaffinity column is loaded with the aflatoxin M1 nanobody immunosorbent. It can be used for purifying and concentrating an extracting solution of a sample before loading to a machine for detection and the immunoaffinity column can be used repeatedly for many times.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing edge-functionalized graphite or graphene with fluoro groups. According to the method, graphite is pulverized into smaller pieces and is then allowed to react with a surrounding material containing fluorine or a fluorocarbon compound. The method enables the production of graphite or graphene functionalized with fluoro groups, which could not be achieved by conventional mechanochemical methods. In addition, the method is carried out in a very simple and economical manner and is suitable for large-scale production.

Abstract: The present invention describes a road terrain detection system that comprises a method for classifying selected locations in the environment of a vehicle based on sensory input signals such as pixel values of a camera image. The method comprises a high level spatial feature generation for selected locations in the environment called base points. The spatial feature generation of the base points is based on a value-continuous confidence representation that captures visual and physical properties of the environment, generated by so called base classifiers operating on raw sensory data. Consequently, the road terrain detection incorporates both local properties of sensor data and their spatial relationship in a two-step feature extraction process.

A method of capturing a component of a gaseous mixture is provided comprising: exposing the gaseous mixture to a fluid containing a ligand and a reactive metal, the exposing chemically binding the component of the gaseous mixture to the ligand, altering the oxidation state of the metal, the altering unbinding the component from the ligand, and capturing the component.
