Abstract: Methods and a computer program product for deriving a super-resolution image of a physical object by fusing cameras of multiple resolutions (spatial, temporal, or spectral), the super-resolution image characterized by a resolution exceeding a “camera imaging resolution” associated with each of a sequence of lower-resolution images of the physical object. The sequence of images of the physical object is obtained at a plurality of relative displacements with respect to the object by a hybrid camera system comprising at least two imaging systems. The imaging systems are characterized by respective temporal and spatial resolution and by spectral sensitivity, and may be distinct from one another in one or more of the foregoing dimensions. The imaging systems are either fixed, or subject to know motion, relative to each other. Image sequences derived by each imaging system are coregistered and deconvolved to solve for a resultant sequence of images.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for encoding and decoding audio signals using adaptive sinusoidal coding are provided. The audio signal encoding method includes the steps of dividing a synthesized audio signal into a plurality of sub-bands, calculating the energy of each sub-band, selecting a predetermined number of sub-bands having a relatively large amount of energy from the sub-bands, and performing sinusoidal coding with regard to the selected sub-bands. Application of sinusoidal coding based on consideration of the amount of energy of each sub-band of the synthesized signal improves the quality of the synthesized signal more efficiently.

Abstract: Technologies are generally described to provide a distributed scheme that enables a Green-energy Aware and the Latency Aware (GALA) user-base station (BS) associations in wireless networks, whose BSs are powered by both on-grid energy and green energy. According to some examples, the GALA approach may consider traffic delivery latency and green energy generation rate in BSs to determine the user-BS association. The GALA approach may converge to a particular solution, which may reduce the summation of the weighted latency ratios of BSs, while enabling a trade-off between the on-grid power consumption and the average traffic delivery latency.
Abstract: Disclosed are a self-aligned thin film transistor capable of simultaneously improving an operation speed and stability and minimizing a size thereof by forming source and drain electrodes so as to be self-aligned, and a fabrication method thereof. The method of fabricating a thin film transistor according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure includes: forming an active layer, a gate insulator, and a gate layer on a substrate; forming a photoresist layer pattern for defining a shape of a gate electrode on the gate layer; etching the gate layer, the gate insulator, and the active layer by using the photoresist layer pattern; depositing a source and drain layer on the etched substrate by a deposition method having directionality; and forming a gate electrode and self-aligned source electrode and drain electrode by removing the photoresist layer pattern.

Abstract: A foldable display and an image processing method thereof are disclosed. The foldable display comprises a display module, a memory, a sensor module, and a processing unit. The sensor module senses a bending state of the display module. The processing unit generates adjusted images according to an image signal, and stores those adjusted images to a plurality of memory addresses of the memory. The processing unit selects a reading address from those memory addresses according the bending state.
