Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing cresol from phenol and methanol via gas phase alkylation, in which phenol and methanol are preheated and mixed with diluent gas, then the mixture continuously go through a catalyst bed comprising the catalyst for alkylation of phenol with methanol, to produce cresol by gas phase reaction at the reaction temperature of 200˜500° C. and the weight hourly space velocity of 0.5˜20 h?1. The catalyst for alkylation of phenol with methanol is obtained by modification steps and using ZSM-5 zeolite, MCM-22 zeolite or Beta zeolite as an active composition. Using phenol and methanol as feedstock, the cresol selectivity can reach to 90%, and the p-cresol selectivity can reach to 58%. The catalyst is environmental friendly and non-corrosive to the equipment with a good stability and a broad prospect in industrial application.

Abstract: A device comprises a first portion including a first polymer, and a second portion that is relatively flexible in comparison to the first portion and includes a second polymer that is substantially not bondable to the first polymer. A chamber of the device is hermetically sealable with respect to ambient atmosphere and is defined by (i) an interior of the second portion, and/or (ii) a space formed between the first and second portions. A third portion of the device includes a third polymer that is bondable to the first and second polymers and fixedly secures the first and second portions to each other.
Abstract: Provided is a radio resource management method for device-to-device communication. The resource management method for device-to-device communication includes dividing a plurality of connection identifiers (CIDs) into N (N is a natural number) number of groups, dividing the resources for device-to-device communication into N number of sub-bands corresponding to the N number of groups, and allocating resources by mapping CIDs respectively belonging to the N number of groups to resources of sub-bands respectively corresponding to the groups. Therefore, according to the resource management method, by dividing the whole frequency band into a plurality of sub-bands, a communication range may be extended, a low-power device may be accommodated, granularity of resources may be improved, and flexibility of resource management may be obtained.

Abstract: The invention discloses a metal-bonded diamond grinding wheel prepared by self-propagating pressure-less sintering and a preparation method thereof. The metal bonded diamond grinding wheel mainly comprises a working layer and a non-working layer, wherein the working layer comprises metal bond and grinded diamond, the non-working layer is metal bond, and the metal bond in the working layer and non-working layer have the same components that comprise metal powders of Cu, Al, Ni, Ti, Sn, and Co. To prepare the metal-bonded diamond grinding wheel prepared by self-propagating pressure-less sintering solves the problems of high energy consumption and low manufacture efficiency in the current sintering processes of the metal bonded diamond grinding wheel, and improves the binding force of the metal bond to the grinded diamond by forming carbides between the bond and the grinded diamond.

Abstract: A search system has a management device that stores compound data and a searcher device. The management device defines a similarity between query sequence data q representing a substructure or property of a substance that is input as a search condition at the searcher device and sequence data pi (i=1, 2, . . . , m) for substances stored in the database by means of a score T that takes a non-negative value when a Tversky index Si is greater than or equal to a threshold value ?n/?d (where ?n and ?d are natural numbers that satisfy ?n??d), calculates an encrypted value of the score T while the query sequence q is maintained in an encrypted state, and returns the encrypted value to the searcher device to thereby disclose information regarding whether or not similar compounds are present in the database while in a confidential state.
