Abstract: A data synchronization system includes a database, a management device, and a synchronization device. The database includes user folders, and the management device includes an authentication module and a data storage module. The authentication module authenticates the identification of the user who uses a client terminal device to log in the authentication module and output an authentication signal based on the result of the identification. The data storage module receives the authentication signal and output an index signal based on the authentication signal. The client terminal device is configured to connect to a corresponding user folder based on the index signal, and the corresponding user folder is used as a major user folder. The synchronization device logs in one of the accounts of a commercial database and synchronizes the data of the account to the major user folder. Furthermore, a method for synchronizing data is also disclosed herein.
Abstract: Certain 2-halophenyl, 2,4-dihalophenyl (e.g. 2,4-dichlorophenyl), 3,4-dichlorophenyl (e.g. 3,4-dichlorophenyl), 2,6-dichlorophenyl (2,6-dichlorophenyl) and 2,5-diakoxyphenyl (e.g. 2,5-dimethoxyphenyl) derivatives of tetrahydro-?-carbolines are provided, along with their pharmaceutically acceptable salts; prodrugs and solvates, and compositions containing the compounds. The compounds are useful for the prevention and treatment of cancer, and other indications where PDE5 inhibitors have shown benefits including erectile dysfunction, pulmonary hypertension, enhancing cognitive function, cystic fibrosis, or enhancing the activity of conventional chemotherapeutic drugs. Methods for fabricating the compounds are also provided.
Abstract: The invention relates to a reaction system and process for continuously preparing polymethoxy dimethyl ether (DMM3-8) by a continuous acetalization reaction between an aqueous formaldehyde solution or paraformaldehyde and methanol in the presence of a functionalized acidic ionic liquid as a catalyst. The reaction system of the invention preferably comprises a formaldehyde-concentrating unit, a vacuum-drying unit, an acetalization reaction unit, a product-separating unit and a catalyst-regenerating unit. The process of the invention uses aqueous formaldehyde solution as an initial raw material, which is concentrated in the formaldehyde-concentrating unit to a concentrated formaldehyde of 50˜80 wt. %, and vacuum-dried to paraformaldehyde, or uses paraformaldehyde as raw material directly, then obtains DMM3-8 by an acetalization reaction.

Abstract: A sensor for use in magnetostrictive testing of a structure. The sensor has a thin ferromagnetic strip with a series of parallel crimps across its width. A first wire coil is wrapped around the width of the strip and along its entire length, such that portions of wire that cross the bottom surface of the strip are located inside the crimps, and portions of wire that are wrapped across the top surface of the strip are between the crimps. The sensor further has a second coil wrapped around the length of the strip, or for pipeline applications, around the pipeline.
Abstract: Raman emissions from a sample may be enhanced by using a microsphere to confine the impinging radiation into a photonic nanojet and thereby increase the intensity of the radiation that is striking the sample. The amount of enhancement may be improved by configuring the diameter and refractive index of the microspheres in conjunction with the dispersion and the wavelength of the radiation to increase the intensity of the beam of radiation in the photonic nanojet.
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of the present invention relate to benzoxazines having various N-protecting groups. An R1 functional group is at least one selected from the group consisting of H and a halogen, an R2 functional group is at least one selected from the group consisting of H, an amide, or a carbamate, and a Z functional group is at least one selected from the group consisting of a phenyl, substituted phenyl group, methyl, and t-butyl group. The exemplary embodiments provide compounds with benzoxazines having various cleavable protecting groups such as amides and carbamates.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for transceiving data. A method in which a transmitting terminal transmits data to a receiving terminal in a MIMO system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the following steps: generating a data field containing the data; generating a signal field containing information on the data field; generating a data frame containing the data field and the signal field; and transmitting the data frame to the receiving terminal. According to the present invention, an end of the frame being transmitted is accurately notified to the receiving terminal in a communication system in which the frame is transmitted using MIMO, thereby decoding the frame in a more efficient manner at the receiving terminal.

Abstract: A solvothermal synthesis process of the SAPO molecular sieves and catalysts prepared thereby are provided. The synthesis process comprises the following steps: a) an organic amine, an aluminum source, a phosphorus source, a silicon source, and water are mixed in a molar ratio of 6-30:1:0.5-5:0.01-1.0:0.1-15, to obtain an initial mixture for preparing the SAPO molecular sieves, wherein the molar ratio of water to the organic amine is less than 2.0; b) the initial mixture obtained in the step a) is maintained at 30-60° C. to and aged with stirring for not more than 24 hours, to obtain an initial gel; c) the initial gel obtain in the step b) is crystallized at 150-250° C. for 0.5-15 days. The SAPO molecular sieves prepared thereby are used, after being calcined at 400-700° C. in air, as catalysts for acid-catalyzed reactions or for conversion reactions of oxygen-containing compounds to olefins.

Abstract: A system and method for producing polyoxymethylene dimethyl ethers (DMMn) using an aqueous formaldehyde solution as the initial reaction material. The process system has a polymerization reaction unit, an acetalation unit, a product separation unit, and a catalyst regeneration unit. Both polymerization and acetalation reaction are conducted in the presence of an ionic liquid as a catalyst, which can achieve the effect that two different reactions may be catalyzed by the same ionic liquid. The present invention employs a simple catalyst system, and achieves the efficient separation of the catalyst, the byproduct water, the product and the reaction materials in a separation manner combining the extraction and the rectification.

Abstract: A device and method for analyte detection is provided. In an embodiment, the device includes a multi-layer filter configured to receive a fluid-borne sample including at least one analyte in combination with one or more non-analyte components. The multi-layer filter includes a sample preparation layer configured to dissolve upon receiving a portion of the fluid-borne sample to produce a solution including at least a portion of the fluid-borne sample. The device also includes an analysis cartridge for determining a presence and/or a concentration of the analyte in the solution. The device may be configured as a wearable mask or as a part of a ventilation system. In some embodiments, the analyte is detected using a polymerase chain reaction and a detectable marker. The device and method may be used to quickly detect the presence of an analyte in real-time and on-location.
