Abstract: An objective of this invention is to provide an HCV strain with a high capacity for virus production in a cell culture system. This invention provides a nucleic acid encoding a polyprotein precursor of the hepatitis C virus JFH1 strain having one or more amino acid substitutions, wherein the polyprotein precursor comprises at least substitution of glutamine at position 862 with arginine, as determined with reference to the amino acid sequence as shown in SEQ ID NO: 2 in the Sequence Listing.

Abstract: Provided is a method for manufacturing a significantly high efficient solar cell having a novel structure and superior stability, and which can be mass-produced from an inexpensive material from an inexpensive material for enabling the easy commercial availability thereof. Abstract: Disclosed herein is a frontal face detection apparatus and method using a facial pose. The frontal face detection apparatus includes an image input unit for receiving an input image. A candidate extraction unit extracts a face region candidate and face element candidates from the input image. A face region verification unit verifies, based on a plurality of face element candidates extracted by the candidate extraction unit, whether the extracted face region candidate is a final face region. A face element calculation unit calculates a plurality of final face elements in correspondence with a facial pose score for a final face region including the extracted face element candidates generated based on a predefined average face model. Abstract: An output control apparatus of a motor includes a controller formed by having a power device to bridge a motor and a power supply. The controller incorporating the power device provides voltage control modulation during different motor speeds so as to fix the recharging voltage at the DC bus in a specific range without involvement of any voltage converter. It is unnecessary to use additional complex circuits or other DC/DC converters to reduce the voltage recharged from the motor running at a high speed. In addition, space for the apparatus is reduced, and the specification and function of the original controller can be maintained without trading off work in redesigning the motor system.

Abstract: According to the present invention, when the novel low-molecular-weight compound RSC-133 is added in a culture process for producing reprogrammed pluripotent stem cells from human differentiated cells, it can increase the efficiency of reprogramming and can significantly reduce the time required for the induction of reprogramming. Particularly, the novel compound RSC-133 can substitute for c-Myc acting as both a reprogramming factor and an oncogenic factor, and it can effectively increase the efficiency of reprogramming in both normal oxygen culture conditions and hypoxic culture conditions. In addition, RSC-133 can inhibit the induction of aging occurring in the reprogramming process, exhibits the effect of promoting cell proliferation, and induces epigenetic activation to improve culture conditions for induction of reprogramming.

Abstract: A packet transmission system is provided that includes packet switching modules each having a memory unit to store packet flow tables and a control module coupled to the packet switching modules. The control module includes a memory to store computer executable commands and a processor. The process executes the commands to perform the operations outlined below. A flow entry corresponding to a target packet switching module is generated. A residual memory amount of the memory unit of the target packet switching module is determined to be lower than a threshold value. A redirection packet switching module is selected from the other packet switching modules. A redirection flow entry is added to the packet flow tables in the target packet switching module and a processing flow entry is added to the packet flow tables in the redirection packet switching module according to the flow entry.
