Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a porous pre-sintered granule for a sintered reaction-bonded silicon nitride, to which a pressure forming technology can be applied to obtain a porous sintered reaction-bonded silicon nitride having high porosity and having a structure in which macropores and micropores coexist with each other, and to a porous pre-sintered granule manufactured by the method. The method includes the steps of: granulating a raw material comprising silicon and sintering additives including yttrium, aluminum and at least one alkali earth metal compound; and pre-sintering the granulated raw material at a temperature of 1300˜1375° C. under an inert atmosphere. According to the present invention, a porous pre-sintered granule for porous sintered reaction-bonded silicon nitride, which can increase the air permeability and trapping efficiency by controlling the size of a pore channel such that macropores and micropores coexist, can be manufactured.

  • Patent number: 8991271
Abstract: A portable nanoparticle sampler for collecting respirable particulate matters and nanoparticles is composed of a tangential flow cyclone, a multi-microorifice impactor and a filter cassette. The tangential flow cyclone can remove the microparticles with cutoff aerodynamic diameter (dpa) larger than 4 ?m and guide the airflow to the multi-microorifice impactor located below the cyclone. The multi-microorifice impactor includes a multi-orifice nozzle and a rotary impaction plate for enabling the microparticles with dpa from 100 nm to 4 ?m to be uniformly collected on a silicone-oil-coated impaction substrate. The remnant microparticles with dpa smaller than 100 nm are collected by the filter cassette. Therefore, compared with the prior art, the portable nanoparticle sampler is characterized by low pressure loss and accurate microparticle sizing to meet the requirement of nanoparticle sampling at workplaces.

  • Patent number: 8995155
Abstract: A photovoltaic power conditioning system and method is provided. The system includes an isolated DC/DC converter (41), a DC/AC inverter (42), and a sine filter (43). The isolated DC/DC converter (41) receives a DC voltage from a solar cell through a parallel connection structure and converts the DC voltage into another DC voltage and then outputs the converted DC voltage through a series connection structure. The DC/AC inverter (42) converts the DC voltage output from the isolated DC/DC converter into an AC voltage. The sine filter (43) performs sine filtering on the AC voltage output from the DC/AC inverter and outputs the filtered AC voltage. The system employs a topology allowing it to be responsible for part of the output capacity, thereby significantly reducing the required capacity and increasing the system efficiency, so that the system can be applied to small and large-capacity photovoltaic power generation.
