Abstract: A surface plasmon optical waveguide includes a lower cladding, a metal thin layer on the lower cladding, low-k dielectric layers spaced apart from each other on one surface of the metal thin layer, and an upper cladding covering the low-k dielectric layers and the metal thin layer uncovered between the low-k dielectric layers. A refractive index of the low-k dielectric layers is less than a refractive index of the lower and upper claddings.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a vaccine adjuvant, including a polysaccharide derived from Antrodia camphorata (also named Antrodia cinnamomea or Taiwanofungus camphoratus) fruiting body, wherein the molecular weight of the polysaccharide is greater than 100 K Da. Abstract: An advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) server, an AMI network node, an AMI network system and a message broadcasting method thereof are provided. The AMI server generates a broadcasting key from a broadcasting message through a hash function, encrypts the broadcasting message into an encrypted broadcasting message via the broadcasting key, encrypts the broadcasting key into an encrypted key via a symmetric key, and transmits the encrypted broadcasting message and the encrypted key to the AMI network node. The AMI network node decrypts the encrypted key into the broadcasting key via the symmetric key, decrypts the encrypted broadcasting message into the broadcasting message via the broadcasting key, and processes the broadcasting message after determining that the broadcasting message corresponds to the broadcasting key through the hash function.
Abstract: An integrated process for the generation of saturated C3 and higher hydrocarbons from carbon oxide(s) and hydrogen, includes the steps of: (a) feeding a gas feed stream including carbon oxide(s) and hydrogen to a two-stage reaction system comprising a first stage including a carbon oxide(s) conversion catalyst, where the feed stream is converted in the first stage to form an intermediate product stream, (b) feeding the intermediate product stream to a second stage including a dehydration/hydrogenation catalyst and (c) removing a product stream from the second stage, the product stream including saturated C3 and higher hydrocarbons. The two-stage reaction system could exhibit a high activity and selectivity to C3 and higher hydrocarbons, and the two stage reactions may be operated in different reaction conditions.

Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and systems for 4D ultrafast electron microscopy (UEM)—in situ imaging with ultrafast time resolution in TEM. Single electron imaging is used as a component of the 4D UEM technique to provide high spatial and temporal resolution unavailable using conventional techniques. Other embodiments of the present invention relate to methods and systems for convergent beam UEM, focusing the electron beams onto the specimen to measure structural characteristics in three dimensions as a function of time. Additionally, embodiments provide not only 4D imaging of specimens, but characterization of electron energy, performing time resolved electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS).

Abstract: A thermoelectric generator (TEG) including a cooling element, a heat-collection element and at least one thermoelectric generating module is provided. Abstract: There are provided a method of generating a ranging signal of a wireless terminal and a device for generating a ranging signal of a wireless communication system that can generate the ranging signal using one IFFT engine independently from a mode of the ranging signal transmitted in uplink in a wireless communication system in which a frequency interval of subcarriers used to generate an initial ranging signal and a frequency interval of subcarriers using periodic ranging are different.
