Abstract: A method of reusing a frequency by allocating two orthogonal signal waveforms to the same frequency band is as follows. Two high-frequency ocean surface radars can be operated in the same frequency band without mutual interference by allocating a signal having an up-chirped LFM waveform and a signal having a down-chirped LFM waveform, having the same frequency band, to the two radars by employing an orthogonal characteristic between the two signals. Furthermore, a plurality of radars located within a distance within which interference is possible can be operated without mutual interference by combining and allocating two orthogonal signals and a plurality of frequency bands.

Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for highly accurately detecting a cancer cell. The method of the present invention is characterized by comprising imaging with the use of a fluorescently labeled L-glucose derivative. By using the method and imaging agent according to the present invention, a high contrast between a cancer cell and a normal cell can be obtained compared with the case that imaging is conducted with the use of a fluorescently labeled D-glucose derivative. According to this method, moreover, no fasting is needed for the determination. Thus, the imaging can be quickly carried out without imposing a burden on a patient.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a secondary side serial resonant full-bridge DC/DC converter, comprising: a transistor full-bridge unit, a transformer unit, a resonant unit, a rectifying unit, and an output unit. Particularly, in the present invention, a resonant inductor and a resonant capacitor of the resonant unit and a load resistor of the output unit constitute a serial resonant circuit having a serial resonant frequency; therefore, when the circuit frequency is operated on the serial resonant frequency, the resonant inductor impedance would be offset by the resonant capacitor impedance, such that the circuit is operated in the zero current switch (ZCS) region, and the output voltage variation can be controlled in ±0.2%. Moreover, through the serial resonant circuit, the issue about the resonant components hard to be designed due to their small characteristic impedance can simultaneously be improved.

Abstract: A parallel multiprocessor system includes a packet-switching communication network comprising a plurality of processor nodes operating concurrently in parallel. Each processor node generates messages to be sent simultaneously to a plurality of other processor nodes in the communication network. Each message is divided into a plurality of packets having a common destination processor node. Each processor node has an arbiter that determines an order in which to forward the packets onto the network toward their destination processor nodes and a network interface that sends the packets onto the network in accordance with the determined order. The determined order operates to substantially avoid sending consecutive packets from a given source processor node to a given destination processor node and to randomize the destination processor nodes of those packets presently traversing the communication network.
