  • Patent number: 7088180
Abstract: A programmable gain current amplifier is provided, including a transistor pair, a plurality of differential pairs, and a control device. The transistor pair receives an input current. Each differential pairs connecting with each other in parallel is connected to the transistor pair to form a differential current mirror for amplifying the input current. The control device adjusts the output polarity of the current mirror, thereby obtaining a predetermined gain between the output of the current mirror and the input current. Therefore, amplification of the input current at a programmable gain is realized.

  • Patent number: 7087283
Abstract: An optical storage medium having a three-dimensional data pattern, and fabrication method thereof. The optical storage medium includes a substrate and a plurality of recording layers, each constituting a fluorescent oligomer. Due to the high quantum yield and high stock shift of the fluorescent oligomer, the recording layers emit intensive fluorescent signals when the optical storage medium is illuminated with reading beams. Accordingly, the recording sensitivity and the readout characteristics of optical storage mediums are improved without additional signal-amplifying structures or materials.

  • Patent number: 7087202
Abstract: This invention concerns particulate reinforced Al-based composites, and the near net shape forming process of their components. The average size of the reinforced particle in the invented composites is 0.1–3.5 ?m and the volume percentage is 10–40%, and a good interfacial bonding between the reinforced particulate and the matrix is formed with the reinforced particles uniformly distributed. The production method of its billet is to have the reinforced particles and Al-base alloy powder receive variable-speed high-energy ball-milling in the balling drum. Then, with addition of a liquid surfactant, the ball-mill proceeds to carry on ball-milling. After the ball-milling, the produced composite powder undergoes cold isostatic pressing and the subsequent vacuum sintering or vacuum hot-pressing to be shaped into a hot compressed billet, which in turn undergoes semisolid thixotropic forming and may be shaped into complex-shaped components. These components can be used in various fields.

  • Patent number: 7087363
Abstract: A method of forming a top gate thin film transistor (TFT). By performing photolithography using a first reticle, a photoresist layer having a thick photoresist layer portion and a thin photoresist layer portion is formed on a silicon layer in an active area. Thus, a channel layer and source/drain regions in a silicon island are defined by the same patterning process. In addition, a gate and an LDD region in the silicon island are defined by photolithography using a second reticle and a backside exposure process. Accordingly, the top gate TFT fabrication process of the present invention requires only two reticles, and thereby reduces costs.
