Abstract: A circuit for realizing a precision and linear floating resistor, using MOSFET devices, is disclosed. A linear floating voltage-controlled resistor (LFVCR) is realized using a MOSFET with a gate drive means and a substrate drive means to provide a feedback of the common-mode voltage across the source-drain terminals to the gate and substrate terminals. Two such LFVCR circuits using matched MOSFET devices having independent substrates, along with an op-amp based negative feedback loop, are used to realize a continuously variable precision and linear floating resistor, whose value can be controlled by a combination of variable voltage, current, and resistor. Further embodiments are disclosed for realizing a resistor mirror circuit with multiple floating resistors, improving the linearity by using LFVCR circuits with complementary MOSFET devices, realizing a resistor with scaled-up resistance and extended voltage range, and realizing a resistor with scaled-down resistance and extended current range.

Abstract: A core-shell type amine-based carbon dioxide adsorbent is described, including a chelating agent resistant to oxygen and sulfur dioxide, to inhibit oxidative decomposition of amine. As a core, a porous support is employed on which an amine compound is immobilized, and, as a shell, an amine layer resistant to inactivity by sulfur dioxide is utilized. Such adsorbent exhibits high oxidation resistance because the chelating agent functions to remove a variety of transition metal impurities catalytically acting on amine oxidation. In addition, the sulfur dioxide-resistant amine layer of the shell selectively adsorbs sulfur dioxide to protect the amine compound of the core and, at the same time, the amine compound of the core selectively adsorbs only carbon dioxide. Sulfur dioxide adsorbed on the shell is readily desorbable therefrom at about 110° C. and thus remarkably improved regeneration stability is obtained during temperature-swing adsorption (TSA) processes in which sulfur dioxide is present.

Abstract: A multiplex proteome quantification method based on isobaric dimethyl labeling implements dimethyl labeling of peptide N-terminal in an acidic condition and C-terminal in an alkaline condition one after another by means of Hall the property that a dimethylation reaction has different rates on an amino group at the peptide N-terminal and an amino group on a Lysine side chain at the peptide C-terminal in the acidic condition. Multiplex labeling of peptide samples is implemented by means of the organic combination of various isotope forms of a dimethyl labeling reagents. The mass-to-charge ratios in MS1 of peptides after multiplex labeling are completely the same, the mass-to-charge ratios of the fragment ions in MS2 are different, and multiplex quantitative analyses are carried out by extracting the intensity values of corresponding fragment ions in the MS2.
