  • Publication number: 20160246981
Abstract: A result of statistical processing for a set of original data items can be obtained while the risk of leakage of information to be hidden is reduced by avoiding transferring and storing original data. Each of a plurality of data input devices comprises: means for acquiring an original data item to be hidden; and means for dividing the original data item in accordance with a secret ratio where adding up all the partial data items restores the original data item, and outputting a predetermined number of partial data items. Each of a predetermined number of arithmetic devices comprises means for performing a predetermined arithmetic operation based on a plurality of input data items, performs the arithmetic operation using partial data items as the input data items, each partial data item being outputted from each of a plurality of data input devices, and outputs the arithmetic result.

  • Publication number: 20160204880
Abstract: ID transmitters, each of which can output a sound wave signal comprising sine waves of different frequencies, are installed apart from one another so that areas where each sound wave signal reaches are different. A predetermined number of frequencies, which are included in a frequency range that uses an uppermost audio frequency range, correspond to a predetermined number of bits with the value of each bit being expressed by the presence or absence of the output of the sine wave of the corresponding frequency. Information is divided into items of partial information with each item of partial information being expressed by at least part of the predetermined number of bits of the sound wave signal. An ID transmitter switches at predetermined time intervals the sound wave signal to be outputted, thereby cyclically outputting sound wave signals expressing the items of partial information in the order the information is formed.

  • Publication number: 20150304331
Abstract: A user is provided with a service based on the user's private information while the information is kept secret from any provider involved in the provision of the service. A service provider provides a service using a result of an analysis performed based on two or more information items with respect to stored data. Data received from a user device and stored by a server are data after a process has been performed by using a secret parameter of the user on at least respective parts of data input for these two or more information items. This process is defined such that performing the analysis based on the two or more information items on data stored on the server produces the same result as performing the analysis based on the two or more information items on data input in the user device.

  • Publication number: 20120195088
Abstract: A portable hand held power inverter/converter having a pass through device for simultaneously sourcing A.C. and multiple voltage D.C. power consuming devices through a single D.C. power source connection. Inverter and converter circuitry is provided to invert and convert D.C. voltage to an A.C. voltage source and a lower DC voltage. A.C. electrical outlets are provided to facilitate a connection to an external A.C. power-consuming device and a DC outlet to a lower volt DC power-consuming device. The pass through device provides an independent and simultaneous connection to an additional D.C. outlet that would otherwise be eliminated when occupied by the inverter thus allowing simultaneous connection and operation of both A.C. and multi source D.C power consuming devices through a single external D.C. power outlet of a single D.C. power source.

  • Patent number: 7806972
Abstract: The object of the invention is to provide an oil ink set capable of obtaining images having high color reproduction capabilities and high color saturation in particular. The oil ink set of the invention comprises a firsts a second, and a third oil ink having a wavelength region in which the reflectivity of each oil ink on a recording medium changes from 80% to 5% in the wavelength range of 400 nm to 700 nm. In this wavelength region, the reflectivity of the first oil ink is continuously higher than that of the first oil ink, and in the wavelength in which the reflectivity of the second oil ink changes from 80% to 5%, the reflectivity of the third oil ink is continuously higher than that of the second oil ink. Moreover, the coloring materials in the first, the second and the third oil inks are all different.

  • Publication number: 20090188645
Abstract: A method for measuring the effects of fouling of heat transfer tubes in heat exchangers where a cooling fluid at lower temperature is removing heat from another fluid at higher temperature includes placing a nonrestrictive mass flow rate and temperature measuring tube extension sensor on a tube outlet end; obtaining the tube inlet temperature for deriving the rise in fluid temperature; analytically computing the amount of heat transferred from the hot fluid to the cold fluid; from tube length, inside and outside tube diameter, analytically deriving the tube heat transfer coefficient; and determining tube fouling factor, the value of which is the fraction of the clean tube heat transfer coefficient available for transferring heat, by dividing the heat transfer coefficient by the known heat transfer coefficient of an unfouled tube.
