Abstract: A mounting system for releasably securing a portable electronic device (Preferably a DVD entertainment device) within an automobile. A harness is designed to securely attach the portable electronic equipment to the back of an automobile seat. The harness includes a headrest strap that wraps around the upper portion of the seat, while a second strap wraps around the base of the vertical backrest portion of the seat and is connected to the housing at a third location. The harness is preferably limited to a three-point attachment between each end of the headrest strap and the housing, and a third connection between the housing and the base strap. A crossover strap may be employed to form an intermediate connection between the base strap and the housing.
Abstract: A light source is provided to illuminate a cable connecting a video game controller to a game console. A low power consuming LED in light communication with a side glowing fiber optic cable may be employed and integrated into the communication bundle extending between the controller and console. Alternately LED lights may be disposed at discrete points along the cable. A shield may also be disposed between the light cable and communication bundle to inhibit interference. The entire bundle is preferably wrapped in a clear or translucent material to allow light to emanate from the cable.

Abstract: An oil-based ink composition for ink jet recording of the present invention contains a colorant and at least 50% by weight of a mixed solvent made by mixing from 0.02 to 4 parts by weight of a lactone-type solvent with 1 part by weight of polyoxyethylene glycol dialkyl ether represented by the following general formula (1): R11—(OC2H4)n—OR12??General Formula (1) (wherein R11, R12 represent alkyl groups having from 1 to 3 carbon atoms and can be the same or different, and n is an integer from 2 to 4). The oil-based ink composition can be suitably used for printing on a polyvinyl chloride substrate and is excellent in all of print quality, printing stability, dry characteristics of printed matter, and storage stability of ink.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a controller having a gel-gripping surface for engagement with a user's hand. The controller includes a housing having a plurality of operation members logistically positioned for manipulation by a user's hand. A handle portion adapted to be grasped by the hand of a user includes a deformable gel-grip extending over a substantial portion of the handle. The gel grip includes a flexible external exposed surface containing a semi-liquid flowable material within a cavity portion of the gel-grip. Such an arrangement provides a multi-directional deforming gripping surface with a comfortable feel.
