  • Publication number: 20040190282
Abstract: An accessory lighting assembly for selectively illuminating user selected areas such as, for example, compact computer devices, books and other desired areas. The lighting assembly comprises a base portion for mounting to the user-selected area, a pivotable extension, and a pivotable light portion with a light source. The light source is selectively directed toward a user selected area for illumination and may be pivoted between a working position where light source is adapted to be directed toward the user selected area and a storage position where the light source is housed within a recess formed in the extension. A rechargeable battery pack provides electric power and the light source may be a fluorescent light bulb.

  • Patent number: 6773349
Abstract: A computer game controller with integrated video display device. The controller has a video device mounted or otherwise integrated into a hand held controller. A communication cable connects the controller with a stand alone computer game device. The cable establishes a communication link to facilitate the transmission of both command signals and audio/video signals between the controller and computer device. The integrated controller and video display device of the present invention provides two-way interaction with the stand-alone computer device within a single accessory device. The integrated controller and video display device may also incorporate a speaker or headphone jack to deliver additional audio stimulation.

  • Publication number: 20040063502
Abstract: A computer game controller with integrated LED display to indicate when special features or modes are in use at a given time. A communication cable establishes a communication link to facilitate the transmission of command signals. When a user selects button "A" and activates the "turbo"or program option, a LED light located proximate button "A"is lit to indicate that "turbo" or program mode is engaged. Likewise all buttons, pads, keys and knobs are associated with a LED light somewhere within the controller. A plug is affixed to the end of the communication cable. When the cable is inserted into a receptacle on a computer gaming device and a connection is properly formed, a LED light formed on the plug will light in response to a voltage across a voltage supply line.

  • Publication number: 20040056535
Abstract: A power cord having an integral and unitarily formed surge protector and reset circuitry for delivering a power flow to a stand-alone computer gaming unit. The power cord with integrated surge protector allows for the gaming unit to be plugged into any power source without the necessity of a separate surge protector. A power switch is incorporated to allow a user or operator to turn the stand-alone computer gaming unit on or off without having to access the rear of the unit. An audio output indicator is located on a grill portion to illustrate the audio level through a series of LED lights.
