  • Patent number: 10578403
Abstract: Man portable weapons include integrated electronics that calculate orientation and movement in addition to providing that data to a user's heads-up displays (HUD) as well as to group and area networks. By passing data to a HUD, the user is able to see, virtually, the flight path, point of impact and other ballistic data as well as data representing the condition and performance of the weapon for any rounds fired. The HUD also displays the relative position of other members of the team, last known enemy area of operation and other useful parameters from the man portable weapons of the other team members through the network. The electronics may be integrated within the main components of any suitable man portable weapon in a non-intrusive way as to have no effect on the firing mechanism of the small arm when it is fully assembled.

  • Patent number: 10534883
Abstract: A database is constructed based on a batch PBA performed on a plurality of paths of an integrated circuit. A local PBA is performed on a portion of a selected path. A selected optimization move is identified on the portion of the selected path, based on a result of the local PBA that best meets a set of constraints. A path-wide PBA is performed for an updated path that is based on the selected path incorporating the selected optimization move. The selected optimization move is committed in a netlist associated with the integrated circuit.

  • Patent number: 10534878
Abstract: A graph-based analysis (GBA) output is obtained comprising timing information pertaining to a plurality of paths in an integrated circuit. A path-based analysis (PBA) is performed on the GBA output to analyze timing of the plurality of paths and generate a set of improved timing results; wherein the physical measurements used by the PBA are more accurate than the physical measurements used by the GBA. The PBA result is output to an optimizer to automatically adjust the circuit.

  • Patent number: 10296700
Abstract: A plurality of multi-corner multimode (MCMM) databases are accessed, wherein at least one of the plurality of MCMM databases corresponds to a first optimization scenario, and at least one of the plurality of MCMM databases corresponds to a second optimization scenario. A first optimization move is performed on paths in the first optimization scenario. The first optimization move is verified using GBA on paths in the second optimization scenario to determine that the first optimization move does not cause timing violations outside an MCMM database associated with the first optimization scenario.

  • Publication number: 20170113296
Abstract: An inductive thermal bonding system includes at least one inductive bonding or heating member containing a magnetic E-shaped inductive core and a coil bounding a central member of the E-shaped inductive core. A rigid cover plate allows high and predictable temperature rate-of-change during use and reduced thermal cycling time without risk of detriment. Adaptive solid copper pads on multiplayer bonding regions minimize bonding errors and improve reliability. A cooling system is provided for adaptively cooling both the bond head and the bonded stack. Single and paired inductive heating members may be employed, and may also be alternatively controlled and positioned to aid generation of multiplayer bonding subassemblies distant from an edge of a multiplayer sheet construct.

  • Patent number: 9185392
Abstract: A moving object to be subject to 3-dimensional rendering is illuminated by a repeated sequence of a number N different two-dimensional structured light patterns. For each illumination, the illuminated object is captured by two spaced apart cameras, thereby creating a series of pairs of two-dimensional images. A set of N adjacent pairs of the two-dimensional images is used to form a single three-dimensional image frame. A moving window of N adjacent pairs of the two-dimensional images provides a train of such three-dimensional image frames. The object may furthered be illuminated by non-structured light whose captured image reflection may be used as an overlay over the three-dimensional rendered object.

  • Patent number: 8065121
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pin-less registration method for a plurality of laminate elements in a selected stack orientation. The method involves the use of an optical step that images portions of each laminate and determines a required correction factor between an alignment of the laminate element at the pre-alignment station and a preferred stack orientation for the laminate element. A computer operation control system provides instructions for positioning laminate elements to a corrected stack orientation during an assembly of the stack. Following the assembly of the stack an induction welding step occurs at predetermined locations to secure the pinless alignment.

  • Patent number: 7986321
Abstract: A system and method for illuminating an object in preparation for three-dimensional rendering includes a projection device configured to project at least three two-dimensional structured light patterns onto a 3-dimensional object. At least two cameras detect light reflected by the object in response to the at least three structured light patterns. Each structured light pattern varies in intensity in a first dimension and is constant in a second dimension. A single line along the first dimension of a given structured light pattern is created from a superposition of three or more component triangular waveforms. Each component triangular waveform has an amplitude, a periodicity (frequency), and a phase shift which is implemented as a pixel shift. Each component triangular waveform may be subject to one or more waveshaping operations prior to being summed with the remaining component triangular waveforms. The summed waveform itself may also be subject to waveshaping operations.
