  • Publication number: 20230336565
Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing a telemetry hub, and, more particularly, to methods, systems, and apparatuses for implementing a telemetry hub that obtains sensor data from a plurality of sources and that determines one or more first actions to take in response to receiving the first sensor data. In operation, a telemetry hub might receive first sensor data from one or more sensors. The telemetry hub may determine whether the first sensor data can be trusted and whether the first sensor data is valid. Based on a determination that the first sensor data can be trusted and is valid, the telemetry hub might analyze the first sensor data to determine one or more first actions to take. The telemetry hub might then implement the one or more first actions based at least in part on the analysis of the first sensor data.

  • Publication number: 20230336417
Abstract: An apparatus, systems, methods, and the like, for autonomous scaling of Internet services, such as scaling Internet access speeds, provided by a communications network to one or more connected networks is provided. The service-providing network may include one or more virtual interface devices through which the connected network or device may access the Internet. The connected networks may utilize these virtual devices to communicate with the broader Internet to exchange data. For example, the connected networks may be associated with a common access point to the service providing network, such as an on-net building or other common location that utilizes the same device or devices to access the network to receive services from the network. In some implementations, the virtual network access devices may be instantiated on one or more network computing devices, such as an application server or other configurable computing and networking device.

  • Publication number: 20230327945
Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure describe a testing framework for adaptive virtual services. In an example, a function vendor provides a network function having stated specifications to a service provider. A derived signature is generated for the network function (e.g., based on associated metadata, an image associated with the network function, and/or a network signature for the network function), which is used to classify the network function. The testing framework is used to test the network function according to its classification, thereby determining a set of capabilities. In examples, a network function having the same or similar signature as a previously tested network function may be categorized according to the previously tested network function. The network function is categorized according to its determined capabilities and added to an inventory of network functions for the service provider. Network functions in the inventory can then be selected to form a computer network.

  • Publication number: 20230319522
Abstract: A method and apparatus for echoing media via a mobile device are disclosed herein. According to an embodiment, the method can include displaying automatically to a user, on the mobile device, a list of one or more respective identifiers of one or more other users experiencing respective media within a selectable geographic area. The user is then allowed to select whether to play one or more of the respective media on the mobile device, and can connect with the one or more other users via a social networking site. As a result, the user can network with previously unknown people, based on a common taste in music or other media, for example, as well as a geographic location.

  • Patent number: 11777951
Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing data and source validation for equipment output data and/or for equipment failure predict. In various embodiments, in response to receiving a first request for first data that is output by first equipment, a computing system might retrieve and analyze the first data to determine whether the first data can be trusted. If so, the computing system might send the first data to the requesting device. If not, the computing system might send a second request for identifying a blockchain containing a block containing a copy of the first data. In response to the blockchain system identifying such a blockchain, the computing system might receive the identified blockchain; might abstract the block containing the copy of the first data from the identified blockchain; might abstract the first data from the block; and might send the first data to the requesting device.

  • Publication number: 20230304373
Abstract: A degradable plug device for a pipe prevents fluid flow through the pipe until the plug device has been removed from the pipe. The plug device includes a body which is at least partially of a degradable material. The exposed surfaces of the degradable plug include a protective layer thereon. The body includes a chamber therein. The body is disposable in the pipe to prevent fluid flow through the pipe. The plug is adapted to undergo a degradation initiation operation such that well fluid is able to enter the chamber to initiate corrosion or dissolution of the body from inside the chamber. The plug is useful for temporarily blocking a pipe within a well to control the flow of fluids or to actuate tools within the well.
