Abstract: A method of generating an image of a scene from a target viewpoint is provided. The method comprises capturing a plurality of multi-plane images of a virtual scene, and determining for each multi-plane image, whether a frontmost clipping plane pair defined for that multi-plane image intersects a virtual object in the virtual scene. Responsive to a positive determination for a respective clipping plane pair, the corresponding image data in the corresponding image plane is identified and assigned an identifier, thus generating a modified version of the corresponding multi-plane image. Camera information is obtained for the one or more virtual cameras that captured the multi-plane images and the target virtual camera. An output image is then generated by combining at least one of the modified multi-plane images with another of the multi-plane images in accordance with the obtained camera information. A corresponding system is also provided.

The recording-use image data generated is subjected to predetermined reproduction processing.

Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and systems for tile-based encoding in cloud gaming. The method includes providing a current frame including a plurality of tiles and generating a priority list, which stores a rendering order of the plurality of tiles in the current frame. The method further includes setting a predetermined time, which is a maximum time to be spent rendering the current frame, and starting rendering of the plurality of tiles in the current frame in the rendering order and ending rendering when the predetermined time expires, thereby producing a plurality of rendered tiles that is less than or equal to the plurality of tiles. A corresponding method for processing the plurality of rendered tiles at a receiver is also provided.

Abstract: A method of augmenting a training dataset of voice samples is provided. An audio processing system obtains voice samples and groups the voice samples into classes of spectral representations. The system obtains warp distributions associated with the classes of spectral representations and determines spectral change ratios based on a comparison of the warp distributions. The system determines transformations based at least in part on the spectral change ratios and applies the transformations to the voice samples grouped into the classes of spectral representations to generate a set of augmented voice samples. The system compiles the training dataset using at least the set of augmented voice samples. A recognition model is trained using the training dataset.
