Abstract: An alignment checking apparatus holder to assist checking of the alignment of a motor vehicle headlamp installed in a body of a motor vehicle includes a base body, at least one reference marking on the base body, and a multiple of form-fit elements. The base body is visually perceptible from the outside in a checking position. The multiple of form-fit elements are rigidly connected to the base body and are intended to form form-fit connections with parts of the motor vehicle headlamp or of the body of the motor vehicle. The at least one reference marking has a predetermined position with respect to the multiple of form-fit elements.
Abstract: In particular embodiments, a computing system may divide at least a portion of a physical space surrounding a user into a plurality of three-dimensional (3D) regions, wherein each of the 3D regions is associated with an area of a plurality of areas in a plane. The system may generate estimated locations of features of objects in the portion of the physical space. Based on the estimated locations, the system may determine an occupancy state of each of the plurality of 3D regions. Then based on the occupancy states of the plurality of 3D regions, the system may determine that one or more of the plurality of areas have respective airspaces that are likely unoccupied by objects.

Abstract: A vehicle configured to transfer energy to a building is disclosed. The vehicle may include a transceiver and a processor. The transceiver may receive temperature information and demand information associated with a power grid. The processor may determine that a first predefined condition may be met based on the demand information. The processor may then calculate a first amount of energy to be transferred to the building based on the temperature information, and cause the vehicle to transfer the first amount of energy to the building. The processor may further determine that a second predefined condition may be met based on the first amount of energy and/or vehicle availability information, and determine a second amount of energy to be transferred to the building based on the temperature information. The processor may then cause the vehicle to transfer the second amount of energy to the building.
