Abstract: A vehicle including a vehicle door, a detection unit and a vehicle processor is disclosed. The detection unit may be configured to detect an object presence in proximity to the vehicle and object information associated with an object. The vehicle processor may be configured to obtain the object information from the detection unit when the detection unit detects the object presence, and determine that the object may be approaching towards the vehicle door based on the object information. The vehicle processor may further output the object information to a user device responsive to determining that the object may be approaching towards the vehicle door.

Abstract: A fleet management system including a transceiver and a processor is disclosed. The transceiver may be configured to receive a first charger location associated with a first charger, a second charger location associated with a second charger, and a current battery State of Charge (SoC) level associated with a vehicle. The processor may obtain the first charger location, the second charge location and the current battery SoC level from the transceiver responsive to obtaining a trigger signal. The processor may further determine a geo-distance between the first and second charger locations, and estimate an expected battery SoC level required by the vehicle to travel from the first charger location to the second charger location based on the geo-distance. The processor may compare the expected and current battery SoC levels, and output a notification when the current battery SoC level may be greater than the expected battery SoC level.

Abstract: A method for constructing heat transfer architectures for use in wearables or other small electronic devices using selective micro plating to quickly and precisely generate complex 3D microstructures, a heat transfer architecture, and electronic device with a heat transfer architecture includes creating capillary wick structures, wherein the capillary wick structures may vary in characteristics. An interface may be generated with a vessel wall to provide an optimal interface between the capillary wick structures and the vessel wall.

Abstract: A head-mounted display device employs light field directional backlighting to provide three-dimensional (3D) pupil steering without mechanical adjustment while maintaining a compact form factor and performance. An example light field directional backlighting unit includes two substantially flat components: an array of light sources and an array of modulators (e.g., a micro lens array (MLA), a stack of transmissive display elements, a pinhole array, and similar ones). By digitally modifying the illumination pattern on the array of light source and pairing to the light field directional backlighting unit to an extra transmissive display element as the main display panel and one or more viewing optical elements, a light field created by the light field directional backlighting unit is moved in three-dimensional (3D) space to correspond to pupil shift without interfering with the display content.
