Abstract: Embodiments relate to a method of fabricating a nano-sized structure in a resin element by nanoimprint lithography (NIL). The method reduces adhesive failure during NIL demolding by forming a layer of polymerization inhibiting compound at the interface of the resin element and template. The resin element is made with a mixture of a polymerization inhibiting compound (e.g., a perfluorinated compound) and a resin (e.g., a fluorine resin). The method includes aging the resin element to promote migration of the polymerization inhibiting compound to an interface of the resin element with air. The method also includes pressing a surface of a template having a nano-sized pattern onto the surface of the resin element exposed to the air to form the nano-sized structure in the resin element. The method further includes curing the resin element after the nano-sized structure is formed and then removing the template from the resin element.

There are multiple light-emitting components which is a number of light-emitting elements arranged in each of Eight-Trigram positions are designed on the bottom of this device. These multiple light-emitting components produce color of red or green or white or yellow or black or no color in each of Eight-Trigram positions. A software or App is developed to directly or remotely control and communicate with such device and provide the optimal solution for the five-color phototherapy.
Abstract: The disclosure generally pertains to systems and methods for detecting an occupancy of a back seat in a vehicle before a driver exits the vehicle. In one example method, a backseat occupancy alert system detects an activity that precedes the driver exiting the vehicle. For example, the system may detect that the driver has performed, or is performing, actions such as turning off the engine of the vehicle, placing the vehicle in a parked condition, and/or opening a door of the vehicle. The detection may be carried out, for example, by evaluating an image captured by one or more cameras in the vehicle. The system may then detect a failure by the driver to look towards a back seat of the vehicle, where, for example, a child may be seated in a car seat. The system may then produce an alert to prompt the driver to check the back seat.

Abstract: The technology disclosed herein pertains to a system and method for managing off-track retry. An implementation of a method of determining offset direction for read off-track retry includes storing analog to digital converter (ADC) values of data read from a data sector by a data reader in a read channel buffer, calculating an indicator value of the distribution of the ADC values, determining an amount of offset for the data reader based on the indicator value, and moving the data reader by the amount of offset before performing a read retry operation.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for monitoring corking of a canister vent valve (CVS) in a fuel vapor line during diagnostics of an evaporative emissions control (EVAP) system of a vehicle. In one example, a method includes, after isolating the EVAP system from atmosphere, opening each bypass valve of one or more bypass valves of one or more fuel vapor canisters to couple the EVAP system to a fuel system of the vehicle, and opening a canister vent valve (CVS) responsive to an EVAP system pressure decreasing to a threshold EVAP system pressure.
Abstract: Various embodiments set forth a foveated display system and components thereof. The foveated display system includes a peripheral display module disposed in series with a foveal display module. The peripheral display module is configured to generate low-resolution, large field of view imagery for a user's peripheral vision. The foveal display module is configured to perform foveated rendering in which high-resolution imagery is focused towards a foveal region of the user's eye gaze. The peripheral display module may include a diffuser that is disposed within a pancake lens, which is a relatively compact design. The foveal display module may include a Pancharatnam-Berry Phase grating stack that increases the steering range of a beam-steering device such that a virtual image can be steered to cover an entire field of view visible to the user's eye.

Abstract: A semiconductor structure includes at least one set of vertical field effect transistors embedded within dielectric material layers overlying a substrate. Each vertical field effect transistor includes a bottom doped semiconductor electrode, a vertical transistor channel, a cylindrical gate dielectric, and a top doped semiconductor electrode. A three-dimensional NAND memory array can be provided over the first field effect transistors, and can be electrically connected to the vertical field effect transistors via metal interconnect structures. Alternatively, a three-dimensional NAND memory array can be formed on another substrate, which can be bonded to the substrate via metal-to-metal bonding. The vertical field effect transistors can be employed as switches for bit lines, word lines, or other components of the three-dimensional NAND memory array.
